This is BEERENSTARK with peppercorns!
If I were to list all the very similar fragrances I've smelled, it would fill a small book. The same goes for all the flankers of well-known perfumes and their (often good) dupes.
But the one I'm smelling right now has nothing to do with anything familiar or anything I've smelled before. It is idiosyncratic and independent and truly "berry-strong", which has to do with the special scent of juniper berries, aromatic, spicy, coniferous, woody, fresh, cool, woody-- hardly comparable to anything else.
And when these juniper berries are then seasoned with pepper, with a hint of bergamot on top: CLASS!
Birch trees also grow here, from whose bark sap "inky" fragrances are extracted that are reminiscent of fine, tart leather: TOP CLASS! Other, somewhat milder woody aromas round everything off so well that I am really delighted with the unique blend created. I can really imagine a slightly rough, green landscape à la Ireland, after which the fragrance was named. I can literally see those damp meadows, the "wild" coasts, the green forests, many of which are home to birch and juniper. Feel the coastal air, damp and cool, the mild warmth of an "Irish summer", the autumn mists over moors, the serenity of a "green spring" and smell all the aromas in "real"... thanks to this wonderful perfume.... :-))
