A good start to the day
You've had a good night's sleep and have already completed a great sports session. Freshly showered, shaved and moisturized, you have just come out of the bathroom. The sky is blue and gentle rays of sunlight shine in the window. You're not quite sure whether you want to slip back into your freshly made bed and take an afternoon nap or head into the city center for a coffee with your friends. Refreshed, happy and centered, you look forward to what the day has in store for you. "City of Jasmin" puts the icing on the cake.

Fragrance:
The composition starts extremely fruity. Without a doubt apple! No vanilla, no apple strudel, no apple pie - a sour, crisp green apple. This tangy component quickly blends into the overall creation. A lot of fruits and scents that I could not have guessed. The flowers listed above would not have occurred to me so quickly. The leather here is very subtle and balsamic and I can only guess at it. The fragrance impression that the top notes bring with them reminds me of Duftmuffel2.0 when he starts the day shaved and dabbed with aftershave. The aftershave he uses is called "Hattric Classic" and smells much more tart, herbaceous and masculine in direct comparison. Nevertheless, they both leave a similarly clean "freshly showered" impression. I wonder if the fresh-showered association is due to the jasmine, which is present in both compositions I certainly don't smell it as a typically soapy variant. In any case, the initial shower gel vibes do not seem unpleasantly synthetic. No toilet cleaner, vodka or hairspray, just a fruity, clean shower gel! Over time, the composition develops further and further away from this towards flowers and a hint of fluffy musk. For me, a well-rounded composition with a harmonious fragrance progression! A fruity-fresh clean fragrance that develops in a subtle floral-woody direction.
I can only comment on the comparison with "Aventus Creed" to a limited extent, as I have only smelled relatives and never the original. All of the dupes I have tested so far have smelled very strongly of pineapple. Mostly a mixture of the synthetic version and pineapple juice. I didn't like that at all! This fragrance, on the other hand, definitely doesn't have a pineapple smell for me, but a crisp apple and that's a good thing! The scent could perhaps be described as similar, but I can't judge that accurately from memory alone. I would note, however, that in "City of Jasmin" flowers are added in the late drydown. Creed doesn't even list these fragrance notes.

When? Where? Who?
You can never go wrong with this. If you like fruity-fresh shower gel fragrances that lean in a sweet direction later in the fragrance, this is a very good choice. For many, it is certainly a good everyday or sports fragrance and a nice freshie in spring and summer. Very pleasant on my skin! I find it unisex.
Might appeal to those women who also enjoy shower gel from the men's department. It's the right choice for men who prefer freshies with a little tartness. Possibly more suitable for younger men or those who are young at heart.

Conclusion:
Unfortunately, I don't find the longevity and sillage of "City of Jasmin" as good as the other Alghabra's. Everyone knows that freshies don't last as well as orientals, but for the rather high purchase price, it should have more power. Points are deducted for this. The fragrance is great though. For me, it's the best freshie I've ever smelled from Alghabra!
