Green, green, green ...
... is (almost) all he has!
I don't see it as green as almost any other fragrance, whether in a meadow, a forest or a jungle. When I sniff this creation, I think of the sea, even though it doesn't smell like the sea. Of a rough, cold sea crashing against a steep cliff. Of windy, cloudy weather and how beautiful that can sometimes be. Is it the seaweed that awakens the sea associations?
Scent:
I spray on my skin and notice a citrus note for a second. It disappears again immediately. It is followed by something green - seaweed. Apart from that, there is no other note that I can identify. Unfortunately, I cannot say how the seaweed fragrance behaves in other compositions. What I get here, however, is green in a way that I haven't smelled before. This creation reminds me of the smell of deep green leaves that have been crushed. To my nose, neither spices such as clove and nutmeg nor leather and tobacco are perceptible. I would have expected a spicy, warm scent from the fragrance notes given. I perceive almost the opposite here. To me, it seems "oceanically" fresh from a little further away. Not a citrus freshness, but like an expensive spa treatment with the ingredients seaweed and hyaluronic acid and the aim of moisturizing the skin, marketed in a dark green bottle, because it is an intense fragrance and not a breeze.
When? Where? Who?
A composition for absolute green fragrance lovers. People who are looking for something fresh but don't want to smell sweetness, fruit or other citrus notes. A fragrance to unwind on a day by the sea or at the spa. It has a very relaxing effect on me. Certainly nice for many in summer because it has little potential to become irritating. It may not be sweet enough for some women and some men may find it lacking in astringency. Fortunately, seaweed and spa soap have not yet been assigned to a gender. For me, therefore, a unisex fragrance.
Conclusion:
I've never smelled it like this before. At first I was very irritated, but I was still able to get into the fragrance. It's not a perfume that I see on me, but I think the creation is basically a good one. I can imagine that it will go down well with green fragrance lovers.
