Choc for all
Just last week, I tested and reviewed Lavender & Wool by Linda Landenberg. It is very similar in composition with chocolate notes and lavender. Here in Chocman Mint, mint also comes into play.
You could almost call them fragrance twins, but there are subtle differences. Although chocolate, lavender and mint are quite dominant, they are much tamer and more subdued compared to the almost over-the-top Lavender & Wool. The slight sharpness of the mint and lavender is softened by the chocolate, while all the other ingredients barely have a chance to make themselves known.
The association with After Eight may be quickly triggered in some people, but it is not 100% accurate. But the mint is far more subtle here. This then disappears as the fragrance progresses - what remains is chocolate and slight hints of spices and a hint of vanilla.
In the end, you realize that Chocman Mint actually lives up to its name, but the fragrance is unisex and can be worn by almost everyone, as long as you like sweet-gourmand creations with chocolate and a little mint
