A big pile of fresh wood and ROOOSEN!!!
I love such combinations that come along with woods, incense and roses, and I've never been disappointed with them before.
With the sniffing of "Oudh al Abiyedh Khasati", whatever that may mean in the German language, I have again such a harsh, crisp, rosy-spicy, but also fresh-powdery "candidate" in front of my nose, which I can hardly resist.
A sawmill around the corner, in front of it a big field with roses and irises couldn't smell better.
The (Oud) wood is very intense and fresh. A "sweat or pipinote" is completely missing here.
An earthy powdery note lurks in the depths, suggesting patchouli combined with iris root and vetyver.
A spicy-floral-fresh rose fragrance, relatively tangy with a clear "green component", a delicate hint of mint??
lies over it like a fine mist Hard to say, but emotionally for me to name. Very subtle, very fine and delicate, but "without" something important would be missing.
This for my tongue almost "unpronounceable" oud scent does NOT fit into the usual cliché of the "heavy Orientals".
On the contrary, it evokes cool, refreshing evenings and nights that fit perfectly into the "hot season".
A fragrance that is "different" than the name "Oudh Al..." suggests.
Not directly "niche", but also not "mainstream".
Not adapted well-behaved, neither blatantly "brushed against the grain".
A very likeable, rosy-earthy-powdery "Holzmichl", without reminding directly of dark forest.
An idiosyncratic, independent, well recognizable fragrance with many wearing possibilities....
