The haven of peace in Siberia
Lake Baikal, with its depth of about 1642 metres, is considered the deepest - and with its more than 25 million years - the oldest freshwater lake on earth. Lake Baikal is located in a mountainous region in Siberia, Russia, north of the Mongolian border.
The region around the lake has a variety of plants and animals that can only be found there. Deep green fir forests surround the region around the lake and act as an air filter.
The water of Lake Baikal is very clear and, due to the large number of amphipods living there, it is virtually self-purifying. The constantly cool temperatures of the lake also ensure an optimal oxygen content, so that even in the deeper parts of the lake there are still living creatures.
Why am I telling you this?
When I apply Baikal Gris Attar, I feel exactly the same:
Surrounded by deep green fir forests, the golden resin dripping from the cones, the fresh air blowing through my hair, I breathe it in, so bright, so clear...
...juicy green moss covers the forest floor, the smell of damp earth rises in my nose...
...I approach the cool lake... deep, blue, mystical... what beauty has been created here...
Algae were washed up on the beach of the lake, fresh, glassy, green, "see-ig", pure nature ...
The glitter of the lake, the tranquility of this place...
It is bright and yet it is "gloomy" because the sun is obscured by countless fluffy clouds reflected in the lake...
Yes, this is Baikal Gris to me... a wonderful "work of nature", deep, mystical, bright, gloomy, calm, cool...
It's a really wonderful attar...
The shelf life is quite good for me, about 8-9 hours... Sillage is about average...
