Sunny free day close to mediterranean sea
I got hit with mandarins in face.. For me mandarins are much more sweeter than oranges and this is what I smell.. Very refreshing, citrous and sweet, extremely real, like smell of a real sweet mandarin, you want to eat it.. great for warm weather, after a dry-down it turns more to oranges with hint of soapiness, beautiful clean and tasty fragrance with medium longevity.

Orange moment
Orange Sanguine - a perfume whose name could not have been chosen more appropriately. The juicy blood orange literally roars towards you in the opening, only to then slowly and gently wrap itself around your skin. Authentic - juicy - fresh, that's how I would describe the top note. Perfect as a companion for a sunny morning.

After a while, the fragrance changes to a slightly creamy orange dessert and the freshness discreetly fades into the background.

Unfortunately, the performance is not the best from my experience, so it is a relatively short fragrance pleasure that I still look forward to every time anew

Orange Promise
My first review of any fragrance from Atelier Cologne. I am always on the look out for a good orange based scent, and this one gets talked about a lot when it comes to this variety of citrus. Thank you as always for watching.

Orange peel
Have received a tester of the fragrance of a very sympathetic Parfumo as an addition and am really enthusiastic ...

The perfume is super easy to describe: Orange rubbed off on the skin!

Very authentic, fruity, fresh, crisp. With peel and juice.

The durability seems rather fragile, but I can really forgive such a fragrance.

The Sillage is pleasant, never roaring, but still well perceptible.

I already had an identical bottle in my hand. Nothing special, but it does its job and the sprayers are average
Very beautiful, uncomplicated but nevertheless by the realism of unique summer scent

Freshly squeezed orange juice
I like very fruity scents. Although they are usually not very complex, they radiate a good mood. I have already emptied 2 bottles of Clinique Happy for Men, which goes in a similarly orange direction. Orange Sanguine enjoys a good reputation when it comes to fruity fragrances. It can be found again in some summer lists. The brand Atelier Cologne is for a niche label still in the cheaper range, although really not cheap. You pay just over 100 Euros for 100ml of this cologne. A brand that has many interesting fragrances in its assortment.

I ordered a little sample of this fragrance. The fragrance starts with a concentrated charge of authentic orange. The top note is 100% right. Bitter orange, blood orange and mandarin. Not artificially, but as if these 3 fruits had been freshly squeezed out. If you like the smell of freshly squeezed orange and want to smell it that way, you should test it. Fresh, fruity, summery and slightly tart. The first hour is very pleasant. This fruity orange stays for a long time. Unfortunately it becomes very pale after 2 hours with a flowery-woody base and only very faintly perceptible. The base actually reads very nicely, but then in the nose does not arrive any more so much.
All in all I find it a great creation, where I am especially convinced by the fruity part. Unfortunately the performance is now really typical Cologne. Durability is not so bad, whereby in the later process little arrives in the nose. Should be like 4-5 hours. The Sillage is the 1 hour really good, but flattens quickly unfortunately.

For the price the performance is probably too bad for me, otherwise a fragrance that is very likeable and absolutely unisex.

A large red orange
This is orange in its entirety, the other components are mere companions.

This perfume is the process of eating a blood orange, from its peeling by hand, filling your fingers with liquid, until you eat it and drain some of its juice.

This perfume is to my modest opinion the best perfume of oranges that I have tried, superior without hesitation to Eau d'Orange Verte de Hermes.

No matter that your longevity and sillage is low, while it lasts is a joy.

Meh....
As the name may let you assume, Orange Sanguine opens with a zesty, fairly realistic, yet overall quite mild and mannered accord of orange-citrus notes framed within a sort of salty-soapy structure comprising, I guess, some light cedar, some musk and a nicely executed subtle floral-spicy accord, which sort of enhances the tangier-edgier side of the top citrus-orange accord. Sadly though, I soon get an unpleasant whiff of artificiality and syntheticness, which once past the (quite short-lived) top notes, which are (were...) the only bare hint of “realisticness” here, make Orange Sanguine smell basically as a rather dull sort of clean, aseptic, laundry-like citrus-musky-spicy blend. Quite designer-oriented too, as we aren’t really far from some Kenzo or Calvin Klein scents – or also, some Ferragamo citrus colognes like Tuscan Soul. Actually now that I think of it, Orange Sanguine is indeed quite similar to that, also quality-wise – and that tells it all, since the Ferragamo costs a fraction of this. And that’s not a steal, it’s just the right price for something like this. The same cheap, flat, extremely generic fresh & clean blend, just with some more orange tones here. The openining promisingly recalled some of the nicest, crispest Hermès colognes, such as the Pamplemousse Rose cologne, but sadly the mediocre quality soon brings Orange Sanguine down to a whole different – and abudantly worse – evolution and conclusion. All considered it’s still moderately pleasant and not abysmal, but absurdly overpriced for the quality.

It starts out nice enough...
Finally got my sample of Orange Sanguine. In a nutshell, bitter orange. If you are familiar with Pomelo Paradis, which is more like citrus candy, Orange Sanguine isn’t as sweet, but more like a pure, raw orange. As it starts to dry down, not long after applying, it gets soapy, while still maintaining that tart orange vibe. I imagine a kitchen sink full of soapy water, with a bowl of sliced oranges on the counter. As with other Atelier Colognes, it isn’t unpleasant, just not wonderful. But now that I have that dishwater visual, that’s all I smell. And now it seems to overpower the oranges. It certainly appears that, after the first few minutes, Orange Sanguine = soap. I don’t want to smell like soap.

Fresh peeled citrus
The opening is like biting into a fresh orange or peeling a tangerine. It's very bright and uplifting. A real eye opener. After the initial burst of citrus the geranium and jasmine peek out with the sandalwood. There is a bit of Tonka Bean and Amber softening and grounding the entire thing. This is really beautiful.

The longevity isn't very good, about 4 hours, but you can't expect too much from something with so much citrus in it. The sillage is moderate. It's out there but not too loud.

Soapy fresh orange peel
This smells exactly like orange peel! In the drydown it becomes a bit more soapy. It's a scent that's bound to put you in a good mood!

Orange Sanguine is pretty linear and I can't really make out the separate notes, but it smells very nice nonetheless (and that's all that really matters, right?). Just like with Frapin's L'Humaniste, this quickly becomes a skin scent on me. That's probably just how my skin works ... In any case, the longevity is not that great, about 4 to 5 hours. So just respray around noon and you're good to go!

A fresh and juicy citric-fruity Summer fragrance, sadly developing to a less attractive metallic floral-green woody base. Lacks performance.

Oranges and mandarines on a bed of flowers. Soft, gentle and easy to wear; an excellent springtime citrus fragrance.
