Short and crisp
Luminata does not move me to long poetic outpourings, hence the title. But this is not necessarily meant negatively. I am already glad that it is not a trillionth clone of LVEB ;-).
But now to the fragrance: raspberry and green leaves are recognizable for my nose, pear not so much. If it is, it's an immature green pear. A light softener note (typical Avon DNA???) is also present, but fortunately it does not lie furry on the tongue. That would've also motivated me to panic scrub, lol. In time, these notes step back, and it 'blooms'. Magnolia and peony are there, I don't smell a powdery iris yet. The drydown meeting has yet to take place. Luminata and I are not that far yet????. I just hope there's still some of that scent left. I find the Sillage rather weak and must go with the nose directly to the sleeve, in order to notice at all something. Maybe the performance is better with direct skin contact and movement (as opposed to hanging on the bed like a fauteuil, as I am doing it with enthusiasm right now). Hope dies last...
Conclusion: With Luminata you can't really do anything wrong, whether in the office or during a romantic Sunday walk for two. However, it does not have a great recognition value either. For big occasions, he would definitely be too weak-chested for me personally. But I think he benefits from the fact that, in contrast to many of his current competitors, he at least smells pleasantly...
