Fresh and citric
Yet one more experiment. I know none of the notes in this, but I have done my best to sniff my way to (some) of them.
It is sweet, fresh and fruity in the beginning. I get a lot of citrusy notes, and perhaps some berries. A bit like gooseberry. And fresh herbs, fresh cut lemon balm or mint leaves. The really fresh notes disappear after half an hour and the fruity sweetness is what is left. The fruits could be melon or perhaps pear. I can not detect any base notes. It is not a hardy scent. After two to three hours it is gone and it is time to spray again. I suppose it is meant as a summer scent.
Since I do not know the exact age of my bottle it can be difficult for me to know if the perfume still smells like it was meant to. But it smells nice and fresh with no sharp or decaying smell. So I suppose it is still in good condition.
The bottle is so pretty. Triangular bottom, carved glass covered with an organic pattern. Golden top and a delicate label stating in golden letters: Avon Sun Blossoms Cologne Spray. It is really nice to hold in my hand and pretty to look at.
So even though it does not blow me away I find it recommendable.
