Working title Sommer-AZZARO pH well implemented
The classic was pleasantly cooled down to summer conditions. And you will be reminded of the original in every phase of the development again and again.
It remains to be seen whether every good fragrance needs night, day, leisure, sports and other flankers. Some people like new versions, others simply reject them.
These flankers come off in particular with the more experienced Parfumos anyway worse. But now that pour Homme L'Eau is here, it is a real summer alternative.
The start is citric-fresh, pleasantly bitter-sour for me. The flowery heart note takes over much too fast for my taste, but that's exactly what brings it close to the original.
In the end it comes closer and closer to the original, although it can never reach the S/H of the AZZARO pH. But an L'Eau, a little water, is not supposed to do that. In this respect name well implemented.
AZZARO pH is an expression of classic Italian elegance, without pomp, but also without understatement. This elegance is not lost in the L'Eau.
If you think the original is too strong or if you associate the 70s and 80s classics too much with the more mature men over 50, you should try it out. Nostalgics stay with the original.

Safe and pleasant summer fragrance
This Eau de Toilette is what a flanker should be. I get vibes of Azzaro pour Homme (so there is a DNA connection), but it also reminds me Rive Gauche besides other pleasant vibes. It's marketed as a summer variation of the classic Azzaro, and indeed it's what it is!
It has a strong citrusy fresh opening with lavender, followed by some flowers notes (geranium) and a top quality sandalwood that assures the transition to the final drydown with a fougére vetiver / patchoili / musk notes, plus an woody accord.
I believe this is not loaded with sex appeal (and it's not ment to be), nor will be a compliments champion due to its low sillage. I bought it mainly to please me.
Nevertheless it's a very safe fragrance for the summer: Citrusy/lavender opening and a fougére dry down.
Sillage and longevity are average or a bit below average.

My conclusion: Safe, enjoyable Summer / Gym scent.

Summer Delight
A nice fresh and a legitimate son of the legendary Azzaro PH with enhanced attributes in compliance with the modern time.

The citrus presence is more than I usually prefer but not too much , not very impressive in start neither a bad one as it freshens you up in a hot and humid day but I like the musky drydown more than the citric start and heart.

All in all a reasonably pleasant fragrance and a lot better than the aquatics , summers and Guilties.

Great flanker!
Definetely a great flanker.

It's a nice interpretation of the original Azzaro, but here the notes are much softer.

Lavender, lemon and sandalwood notes makes this a great and safe option for summer.

Reminds me a lot of Azzaro and also reminds me of Rive Gauche.

Sillage, lasting power and projection are soft.

It's a summer fresh and safe fragrance: a citrus/lavender top and a fougére dry down. You may blind buy it if you like the classic Azzaro.+4

A fresher take on a more mature scent. Definitely a fresh, warmer weather type of scent for professional settings
There is depth to this!+4

Reminds me of a cross between the original Azzaro pour Homme and Chanel's Allure Homme Edition Blanche. Very nice indeed.+3
