The scent of nothingness
Secret Mission is a strange fragrance. In the fragrance world, this perfume does not have a very good reputation. Poor durability. No performance. Watered down. All of which the fragrance is accused of. And for a good reason too. Secret Mission's performance is just plain bad. There are no two opinions there.
The fragrance itself is worth it but to go into more detail on him. Because apart from the miserable performance Secret Mission smells excellent. I'm surprised that so far so few have gone into the very strong similarities to Oud Wood. Secret Mission starts with a fresh pinch of bergamot and then develops over time from the basic DNA more and more in the direction of Oud Wood. The fragrance gains woody tones and a subtle medicinal, balsamic note of an oud accord emerges. Of course, there will not be a picogram of real oud in this fragrance. At this price (under 40€ for 90ml), that's not even feasible. Much more this "oud accord" will have been created from other fragrances.
Secret Mission thereby radiates a very warm and soothing aura on the wearer. And that is exactly what makes this fragrance very universal for me for special uses. You can wear this fragrance very well if you do not want to wear an intrusive fragrance or you only want to have this aura around you for 2-3 hours. Secret Mission carries itself thereby like a 2nd skin and disturbs no one in the environment.
Given the price and the extremely pleasant fragrance DNA I always like to reach for Secret Mission. Overspraying is no problem here.
