There's nothing classy here
Here we go again... Another bargain cologne sold for less than 10 euro, which is all but ordinary, something you should try.

The first spritz of Gimmy is a blast of bright citrus that is quickly tempered with a light mix of fruit and aromatic herbs. The velvety bergamot melts with the odorous lavender, and a touch of sweet melon makes this blend neither too citrus nor too aromatic and green. It’s very clear from the beginning that Gimmy is avant-guard male fragrance…there’s nothing classic here.

As it continues to develop, a woody spicy mix twists with the herbs as it warms the skin. I get an aura that reminds both the leafy of the violet and the pencil-sharpener vibe of the cedar, though none of the two notes is mentioned. Hence, I reckon the pungent woodiness I am getting is reasonably coming from the gaiacwood, and the mild leather, which is gentle, velvety, and soft like the suede. The heart is dusted with a tad of spicy cinnamon, yet it plays in the background and is not as noticeable as in Dsquared2 Potion for instance.

Soon enough, green tobacco comes forward with a leafy edge. Actually, it smells a bit like lemony vetiver at this point, but again that earthy note is not stated. But as soon as I say that, it starts to have a boxing match with a more animal musk. There is a lot of movement with Gimmy which is fine with me as I can’t wait to see where it settles down. As the perfume continues to morph, the woodiness intensifies and there’s an increase in its projection off of the skin. At this point, the gaiacwood has a rather sharp edge, but lingering below may be some other notes to rein it in. After ten more minutes, the gaiacwood and musk bend to the light and modern white patchouli, which is not dominant, it just keeps the overall concoction stable. Still earthy and woody, Gimmy begins to quiet down with just the right amount of fight.

Gimmy fragrance embodies true Italian chic. It depicts the image of the modern man. It is a cologne that does not fill the room when you are in, which makes it suitable for daily wear at the office. The freshness, woodiness, and lightness suggest to use it in the cool/warm seasons, sparkling spring days and cooling autumn months. Both longevity and projection are moderate, which might need to reapply if you wanna smell good all the day from early morning to late evening.
Sometimes I find myself wanting to wear a modern men’s fragrance rather than something classic. Gimmy fits the bill as it exudes a hefty dose of metrosexual without being too overt, too manhood, or offensive.
