Sea water
- the name of the fragrance is so simple - but the fragrance itself has a lot more to offer.
At the beginning I can smell petitgrain and lovage, as well as a fresh lemon. A light sea breeze freshens up and completely blows away the top notes.
In the heart, Agua de mar is fruity and floral, although it is more likely to be citrus fruits such as pink grapefruit and orange that complement the fine scent of jasmine, but also something like raspberries or blackberries. Jasmine smells extremely light and pleasant here and blends in very well with the fruits. Here too there is a slight sea breeze, but it only plays in the background.
The rather weak silage projects a fine, floral-fruity and slightly sweet scent that is certainly suitable for wearing at work.
In the base, only the sea note comes into play a little more and displaces a large part of the sweetness, becomes a little warmer and very close to the body thanks to musk. The durability is not outstanding at around 4 - 5 hours, but ok.
Agua de Mar is certainly not one of Rámon Béjar's top achievements, but it is a pleasant, refreshing daytime scent that is suitable for many uses.
My bottle (see pictures below) is different from the product bottle shown above. Viewed from above, it forms a six-petaled flower and is housed in a wooden box with the number 951 on the inside. I guess it's a special series from Agua de mar. Interestingly, these previous Rámon Béjar fragrances are now only available through internet in France. They were probably not known in Germany.
