Of sense and nonsense of the healing stones
My breakfast colleague likes to say from time to time: Can't you take every available globule prophylactically, or just a big sip of tap water and never get sick?"

Homeopathy fans are probably rolling their toenails up now. I find this approach quite pragmatic. What you believe in helps you. Be it globules, the inner power or healing stones. The latter have long been highly regarded by advocates of alternative healing methods. My osteopath also always has a carafe with colourful stones standing around and drinks joyfully from it. I think the water just tastes musty
I can get more out of these so-called healing stones, mostly semi-precious stones, than shaken water diluted to 10 times its potency. The colours of the different stones can affect our mind. Whether they are now able to transmit certain vibrations, let's leave aside the fact that if they are laid in wet, many compounds and salts can be released, both beneficial and harmful. It should be noted, however, that the mostly porous stones are a good breeding ground for all kinds of microorganisms. So always clean well, best with a brush and detergent, if only that does not destroy the vibrations...

Today it happened that we had a Rose & Quartz bottle to test at work. My perfume-smart colleague had brought it. Sprayed on (I took unfortunately directly 2 sprayers on my wrist) I first had a soft fruity rose around me, then it became more and more penetrating. There's something in there I don't like the smell of. The scent is all at once: floral, fruity, sweet, powdery in such a loud penetrance that I pulled quite a flag behind me. "Old woman" commented my colleague and turned up her nose. After 30 minutes I couldn't stand it any more and had to wash it off: "Ha denkste!" said the penetrance and continued to stick to my wrist in a tough and nasty way, even if the sillage was a little bit softened.

The crystals that roll around in the flacon when shaken do indeed look pretty, but whether they help is up to each individual to decide. The owner got the flacon back immediately. Sorry Rose & Quartz, but you're not gonna be in my collection
Something positive about the smell strikes me after a few hours: He reminds me distantly of my dear grandmother, who enthusiastically carried safe in the 90s.
