For Him Absolutely Only Better?
I have once again tested a fragrance and write a little about my impressions.
3 spray shots in the left elbow bend.
In the beginning was the word and the word was spices = the top note - the first 30 minutes -
Coriander and Ambrette seed Absolue are very intrusive but with me only up close.
There is nothing tingling for me and I do not smell incense the same.
Spices are trumps in the top note and the spices used are not the "nicesten".
But what comes next is the best part of the fragrance - the heart note and the base note.
But first to the heart note:
Iris Absolue, cashmere wood, tonka bean is really well balanced;
soft, warm and a touch of avant-garde, and it smells and smells a little bit more high-class than Bentley For Men Absolute, and incense is a fine addition. Very noble.
Yes, the ingredients in the heart note are totally different for the two perfumes mentioned, but they smell very similar for my nose.
The base note:
Bourbon-vetiver, Orcanox (other name/company name of Ambroxan), Labdanum, Musk, Patchouli
Also very noble and long lasting.
Durability: +12 hours on my skin, even after showering the scent is still very easy to perceive.
Conclusion: For those who don't like spices, or better not Koreander and Ambrette seeds: Don't be put off by the top note.
The heart and base notes are much better than the opening.
With this scent I would have expected more steam (Projection / Sillage). Even if the spices in the top note are not my cup of tea, the fragrance is a well done scent overall.
I prefer Bentley Majestic Cashmere over Bentley For Men Absolute.
Be sure to test before the blind buy, then it is no longer a blind buy.
It's not for everyone.
