Naked, my ass: a bergamot camouflage garment
is the one that turns a flirtatious gardenia into a good robinia. To my relief, because I rarely like white flowering plants, especially not the exotic ones - from the bottle, mind you, in nature. I was so curious how a men's perfume with gardenia, this diva, smells. And now there's no gardenia at all.
The blossom of Nude exudes an aroma as it hung this summer over Berlin's Akazienstraße with its fully blossomed trees. The friendly city gardener gave me a few twigs whose scent then filled my apartment. "Unter den Linden" really has lime trees, the Acacia Street has only illusory acacias, that is Robinia. And Nude has a false robinia, but still has more being than appearance. It's beautiful and much more than just a beautiful appearance.
Right at the beginning Nude punishes his name lies: strong oily citrus notes, most likely bergamot and lemon lemon, combine with the floral note and create the impression of robinia, it almost goes towards lavender without its herbaceous parts. A really successful start, not the usual Agrumenfrische-Paukenschlag - hello and bye! The citric is close to the flowers, merges with them, it is the perfect fitting flower camouflage suit.
Over time, the Hesperidic changes into light musk, which also fits perfectly to the floral part. It seems cheerful and pleasant, two to three hours really very pleasant. I'm afraid that's almost it. The basis is a coherent continuation of the previous, but much too weak: at best a hint of light amber and sandalwood, slightly powdery and not soapy, perhaps a little cedar.
The first half of the perfume earns at least an 8.0, the second at most a 5.0, and that makes 6.5. What a pity.
For gentlemen? Not at all. Unisex, if not more for ladies. Or is it me again? I'd like to smell it on a man. He doesn't have to be quite nude for that either.
