Beautiful fragrance with moderate sillage and half-life at the moon price
Top note:
In the top note Dark Amber starts very nice dark-heavy, resinous and for me personally sweetish-malty. The sweetish smell part reminds me of malt beer - and in a very nice elegant whiteness and in no way cheap.
Over the course of the next 10 minutes, the fragrance DNA from the top note remains largely intact, but the scent turns quite quickly from the initially heavy character to a lighter olfactory image. Unfortunately, this is also accompanied by a reduction of the sillage, which was initially very nice present.
Transition to the heart note:
With the lighter become the fragrance one recognizes then spicy chords.
Base note:
In the base note comes with me then already after 20 minutes the jasmine more and more to the fore and the fragrance develops increasingly in a woodier direction, whereby the sweet-malty aroma more and more in the background and is accompanied by a more vanilla aroma. Also violets I take then clearly war.
Sillage: After an hour, the sillage has unfortunately decreased sharply and the fragrance is only perceptible close to the skin
Durability: After just under 6 hours, the scent is then no longer perceptible.
Conclusion:
Beautiful fragrance character especially at the beginning. Unfortunately, only moderate sillage and mediocre durability. For the price of over 400€ which is required I will not buy this fragrance.
