Imagination is something that some people cannot even imagine
This is probably also true for those responsible at Birkholz. I do not know what came to their minds when they heard the words forest, but what the Berliners have produced here is beyond imagination, even if you have inhaled too much air in Görlitz Park.
What I mean to say is that Forest Fantasy is not suitable for anyone who thinks of trees, leaves, dense forest, ferns, green firs, pine, wood, oak moss or dark thicket and who, full of anticipation, rubs his hands or lets his nose vibrate in ecstasy. Unfortunately, the scent has nothing to do with that, but really nothing at all.
Instead, you get a loutish impression of it if you quickly mix a few inferior ingredients together and try to sell them under a green label. Okay, the lime comes rather fresh and smart, the rosemary a little bit original and cedar wood at least seems to fit the theme.
The rest is totally lost and could just as well have remained unmentioned.
As a fruity newcomer with a dash of Exotic flair in the drugstore segment, I might not have said anything. But Forest Fantasy comes across so uninspired and synthetic that you wonder who you are trying to fool with this self-important claim and price. It's the same as some of the current aquatic mainstreamers, but at least there's a little limit to the price.
