A white forest that's not so white?
Hello, snoopers! Hey hey, I think this is going to be my standard greeting for you noses :D

Anyway, it's evening again and I bring you, how could it be any different, a new fragrance description. Admittedly, it is once again a fragrance which is certainly less well known and could therefore meet with rather little interest, but as I said before, I will try to present some less well known fragrances here once or twice a week, maybe some of you might be interested :)

So, today I describe White Forest by Björk & Berries, a brand I don't know well yet myself, but more and more scents of which I get to know thanks to samples of some perfumes here (which are so sweet and occasionally supply me with scents, thank you :). White Forest has a nice sound, doesn't it? It sounds like dreamlike snow-covered forests, which are somewhat quieter in winter, because more than half of the cuddly forest dwellers lazily slept in, for weeks or even months! :))

In general I think everything that has to do with the forest is great (well, apart from ticks and so on... bah...!). That's why I like to test forest scents and hope that this one has also become a beautiful scent.

The fragrance:
The fragrance begins citrically and somehow also slightly mossy, but this could also be due to the pine notes, which mix with the rest, resulting in a green-woody-moosy fragrance. I smell a mix of the oranges and rhubarb, a little pine (resin) and something flowery in the background, which should be the freesias. Then the birch is also noticeable, which one recognizes well under the woody and flowery scents then, because it has such a beautiful, green-floral scent.
A small, delicate sweetness emerges a little later and since this sweetness also has a powdery charisma, this should come from the violets, which later mix with the tonka bean, giving the fragrance a sweet as well as powdery touch again.
A little later, I smell an initially bitterly woody note, which soon turns out to be cedar wood.
In the end one smells a lot of cedar, but also still powdery, sweet scents of violets and tonka bean. Towards the end it stays that way, whereas the generally woody scent is now a bit weaker than at the beginning, thus concerning the resins and pines.

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is average, well, a little more than that, so he'll be smelly on you for a while, but later he'll be more sniffable up close.
The shelf life is quite good because the fragrance lasts longer than eight hours.

The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular, quite simple and has no label. The lid is cylindrical, gold-plated and large, which is also good, because without this lid the bottle would have come across too easily. Well, anyway, the bottle's not really my thing now...

So, I liked White Forest a lot. It's not so good that I absolutely have to have it, but it's quite nice that I would at least recommend it for a test, especially if you like forest scents with woody, slightly green and powdery-sweet floral scents.
Its type for me is a somewhat loose scent of the day, which is good for work or whatever you do during the day (hm... Visit a doctor? Uuuh... I have to go to the dentist again soon... even if I am not afraid of the dentist, it is sometimes a queasy feeling, urrgs...) could wear. Especially now in spring! Yep, despite the scent name it is a scent for rather warm days, if you should think about winter with White Forest.

The fragrance is indicated as unisex, but in the beginning I found the fragrance rather masculine, as these mossy fragrances had given me a very light, barbarian-like fragrance. Afterwards, however, the fragrance became a little more feminine through the violets and the flowers, only to become more masculine again later on, e.g. because of the stronger cedar note. Yes, that goes back and forth somehow, so unisex is probably right here :D

Don't expect an outstanding fragrance, but as I said, it's already nice and might appeal to forest enthusiasts as well. And that's it again, so I'll stop here and wish you all a nice evening!

Den mag ich sehr gerne aber er erinnert mich ganz stark an sensuous von estee lauder. Ein kuscheliger duft für kalte wintertage.
