Virgin Fruit Cocktail
The Blue Collection of Boadicea seems to be divided pretty much by the metal color of the shields and caps. Thus, according to my previous experience, the silver ones (like Vanquish, Triumph) rather stand for the male hemisphere of the unisex cosmos. With its leatheriness and partly also the very conscious edges. The golden ones face the golden ones. Azrak, Gracious and now Fortuitous are, in my opinion, very accessible, almost pleasing. They play in the floral-fruity segment and for me, especially because of the gourmand tendencies, are more oriented towards the female part. Maybe this will help you to find your way around.

Fortuitous starts off discreetly with a liqueur and finds its main theme after just 5 minutes: gourmand orientals. The chord of blossoms, especially ylang-ylang and jasmine, but also the almond and cherry-coconut chords, are present. The fragrance is therefore very sweet right from the start. And it stays.

At the same time, it also seems minimally lively, which I would like to attribute to the citric chords, but cannot explicitly smell them out. I deliberately didn't use the word "fresh" here, because the sweetness is so immensely dense that freshness can't really come about. Angelica and laurel in particular could have brought spicy freshness here. But they simply don't have a chance..

For hours this fragrance remains potent and almost unchanged on the skin. Sweet, fruity. Spread good cheer. Hesitantly a drydown sets in after more than 6 hours with some sandal and cedar. However, this is also accompanied by (also sweet) vanilla, which is why the possibly expected resinous resistance is missing.

The result is a fragrance that definitely fits in perfectly with the current trends for gourmand fragrances for men and, of course, the unisex Oriental segment. So there's nothing "Fortuitous" here. ¶)

He'd probably be too cute for me in the long run
