Powdery Rose and Silent Oudh
Once again an uncommented scent from one of my favourite houses. Nice blue bottle. Nice gold plate. Whether or not the name "gracious" has just been chosen advantageously, we simply leave it out of the question.
When studying the pyramid, it becomes obvious that it must be a rose Oud. At this point the fans of this station wagon are probably already out in equal parts, because one supposedly has already smelled any manifestation of this theme. The other half of the fragrance community might never have been able to use this fragrance and always found it too harsh, oriental or simply (depending on the Barnyard portion of the oudh) unwearable.
I would then like to recommend to both groups Gracious, who, in my view, has been wrongly overlooked so far. What's the matter with you?
Well, the fragrance basically has no pyramid and already at the beginning it focuses on a beautiful, almost powdery ethereal rose. Very briefly the first 5 minutes a somewhat more angular Oudh flashes through. "But "the supposed evil" quickly slips back behind the curtain and now supports the rose with a slight woodiness.
Excitingly you can't really "smell" Hedion. But since I have (tested) a few fragrances that contain exactly this fragrance, I actually think I can recognize this minimal floral-woody-powdery note of the Hedion. The exciting thing about this fragrance is that it usually only supports and accentuates what is already present - but is not really clear or recognizable as a stand-alone fragrance.
Now Hedion continues to steer towards ethereal chords and gives the floating rose more depth.
If I may dare a comparison, Gracios orients itself strongly in the direction of a Sweetie Aoud or O from Roja - only a little more powdery and ethereal ... and without fruit. And that in turn pushes him into my baggage scheme
