Hinoki Potency 2 with Oud
Admittedly, I had expected something completely different.
I had intentionally not read any comments before testing, so I will have no unjust expectations or prejudices. I had read Pyramid briefly, but thought it might be a light forest scent. The name rather suggests something ethereal, perhaps even fragile, possibly green, but like a breath or light wind current from an ever-green forest.

Instead, while spraying on, I encounter almost enormous current of turpentine and woods!
If I hadn't been sitting in my bed anyway, I could have almost fallen off a chair!

The turpentine impression stays only a few seconds, maybe just about half a minute, but I'm immediately reminded of one of my favorite wood scent, aka Hinoki from Comme des Garcons.
Only this fragrance is much stronger times, and a slight sweet of flowers flies by, like a whisper in wind.
That reminds me again also of art study times, except the light flowers.
But in fact they are so subtle and quiet that I suspect that they can go completely down on men's skin. On the other hand, I am very sensitive to flowers, smell the lightest floral scents mostly all day long, so my statement is probably with those perfumes that are ticked similarly. But anyone who might have the slightest fear of flowers can calm down - they are, depending on individual perception, either unnoticed or very short and quiet But I repeat myself now, so go on geht´s.

This whispering, quiet indentation lasts a little longer than the very first impression of turpentine, but is also very quickly covered by the already existing woods, with sage and something else spicy, which doesn't seem to me to be a recognizable nutmeg, but it can be, because it has certain warmth like a nutmeg note for me usually appears. So the woods are already there at the very beginning, and that's strong!

This mixture is incredibly fascinating, stimulating and stimulating at the same time. After about half an hour to an hour I feel like I suddenly have at least !!! 5cm grown, and that only because of improved posture.
The title of Maggy4you, "Witchcraft" concerns it well.
I feel invincible, strong, energetic, full of strength and self-confidence. Pride. Something magical. Surrounded by magical woods that strengthen, heal and courage
After about 4-5 hours it is a warm woody, still invigorating wood scent, sandalwood and patchouli I don't notice directly, but they certainly steer it to soften. Also Oud is rather discreet, not overwhelming or covering everything. It also has rather a slight sweetness and warmth, which a good oud can have.
Nothing seems synthetic to me, everything is very natural, after the first shock - but what was a positive shock, unexpected, but not immediately frightening or repulsive - it is now quite harmonious and round. Woody to the last minute, I'm sure of that.
The witch can now relax, and after a trance journey in the Underworld, where she has won many spirits, rest in herself.

I must think with this smell also of my tattoo, which I took last May.
It's a shamaness, an old Sami symbol for witch. "Noaid" in Sami, "noita" in Finnish. A stick male - in this case a stick female - with a witch's drum on his left hand, and a snake on his right hand. The snake is symbol for healing, if it had a stick for the drum instead, they were still Shaman/Noaid/Noita, but not healer.
And for a Shaman/Noaid this fragrance will fit quite well!!!!

You don't have to be a shaman to wear this fragrance. But you have to like woods and nature very much.

I have to give an anecdote to it - since I sprayed the scent, my cat has been looking for my nearness all the time, and in between played wildly, as well as ran like a little tornado through my apartment again, the stairs to my bed room are an incredibly great fun for her to leave out energy and joie de vivre!
She has also gotten more appetite and eaten well, where she is often very difficult and meticulous, and I have to be constantly careful that she doesn't get too lean. (when she came to me, it had taken a long time before she had a normal, slimmer! Weight had reached )
So this scent has possibleerwiser a healing, energitisierende, and perhaps even appetite-promoting effect even on cats. ;)

This witch elixir has now immediately landed on my wish list.
Expensive and unfortunately parked, I don't know yet if I could buy it then, but someday, I hope for sure, I will be able to get it somehow. ;)
With or without witchcraft, if necessary.
Certainly a fragrance that not everyone can start with and make friends with, and which must be worn for themselves rather than using a night scent. With the right type, no matter if male or female, but surely a powerful, woody elixir of life, which you won't encounter all too often.

I will advise against blind buying, I think that with this fragrance the perception can be particularly individual and different, and I doubt, as well as with many other Boudiceas also whether one can ever describe the effect and perception so really well. But because of pure enthusiasm and because there are not so many comments for it, I tried at least now. ;)

Witchcraft
It frees itself by spraying from the bottle. Like a djinn given its freedom. Resting across the room, I am surrounded by a herbaceous aura. Good witchcraft. The fragrance starts off so massively spicy with sage and nutmeg that at first I don't really think of a perfume. It has something of a brew. A healing concoction.

Ethereal demands a lot from me in the first half hour with this very herbaceous performance. Somewhat unprepared he meets me and is not necessarily in this phase a fragrance that elicits an unrestricted astonishment both from me and from my surroundings. In short: one should like sage already (smell). In addition, I can only recommend that you do not leave your nose on the back of your hand or pulse during the skin test. The fragrance unfolds from a good 10 cm distance.

After a good 30 minutes, the herbaceous veil is hesitantly lifted and wonderful balsamic tones of oud and sandalwood find their way. This weaves such a wonderful warmth under and through the herbaceousness that I would actually wish for a role reversal. Deep down, patchouli and vanilla melt into slightly chocolaty notes.

As one of Boadicea's early fragrances, from 2009, Ethereal actually has something very angular about it. You should - no, you have to - like herbal fragrances very much in order to appreciate this rather rare fragrance. After a good two hours the protagonists actually change their roles. The herbaceous plays at eye level with the softer chords and then rewards for another seven hours, with increasing closeness to the skin, and with more warmth.

it is what it is, not there, a hint of everything then gone
it is what it is, not there, hard to pin down; a hint of citrus then gone and a hint of floral then gone then a bit of amber or vanilla then gone then a light diluted oud then gone
