Fruity resins
Recently I have tested a few (pure) perfumes of my new favorite brand Boadicea the Victorious. With this fragrance concentration one must often handle the atomizer quite discreetly or very self-confidently. Not always an easy task, especially when filling samples. If violets and oud were the main focus of my considerations, I now have a real contrast program on my skin with Glorious.

The fragrance starts fruity, resinous and anything but shy. Amazingly and gratefully, I am not expecting a sticky jam opening, but an almost bitter fruitiness. It is really difficult to recognize the main actors from the indicated fruit round. I was most likely to notice a half ripe peach, some green apple and pineapple. The raspberry has skillfully hidden itself or is simply responsible for tiny aspects of maturity. As is often the case with Boadicea, the fragrance pyramid is to be understood as an indication of a sequence, but not of a selective world of fragrances.

After half an hour the resinous fruit opens towards subliminal floral chords. The rose mainly supports the fruiting body, while the cardamom skillfully cares for the prolongation of the bitter-resinous mood.

After hours the amber and wood base shines through more and more and skillfully catches the harmonies.

If many Boadiceas (tested by me so far) are a bit more angular, Glorious makes up for it perfectly. Not only is it absolutely suitable for everyday use, but it is also an evergreener for fans of fruity, resinous and woody scents. Glorious is uncomplicated to dose and with a good 8 hours with me, also persevering for an office day, without you getting offended. You're more likely to get compliments.

Now that my sample is empty, a bottle may move in as soon as possible. :)
