A Complex Nemer
The second fragrance from the Ahood Collection I was allowed to test is Leopard of Arabia. The first sprayer (still in the lid) made me pause a bit. He reminded me very much of Elaborate, which I already own. On the skin, the leopard shows his heart with a wonderfully smoky rose right from the start. I perceive the enclosed raspberry - my surroundings even more so. The berry gives the rose more depth again. The Dark Notes: Patchouli, smoke, leather are so harmonious in this composition that my first impression from the Elaborate is very quickly history.
The fragrance now remains stable for hours, a slightly sweet, beautifully smoky woody, almost classic oriental rose fragrance. For me he grinds and corrects exactly the things that I missed at Complex/Elaborate and Nemer or that were sometimes too much for me. If I was bothered by Nemer's - forgive me - mothball note, it is completely intercepted by the raspberry in the Leopard of Arabia. Complex, as well as Elaborate, are from my point of view very serious and almost dark scents, which therefore do not make it too often on my skin. Certainly wrongly.
In this blend both fragrances play out their profile skilfully and create a very special aura together. Something new. Yes, Leopard of Arabia is an adult rose fragrance that is not necessarily tame, but very wearable. And deep down smokes and hisses complex.
