Sandalwood, neroli & a touch of orange soda
I almost didn't test this because the name sounds a bit unassuming, but I'm glad I gave it a chance anyways. Sandalwood Neroli smells just like the two titular notes suggest, but in a very nice, warming way.
The neroli is fresh and effervescent, it leans quite fruity and reminds me of an orange soda. Not Fanta, something a little less sugary, but still sweet. When I saw bergamot and neroli as top notes, I expected more of a classic cologne scent, but that's not what this is.
The sandalwood comes in quickly. It's a soft, milky sandal with hints of spice and powder. On my first trial I got a hint of a cardboard-like background note which I didn't enjoy, otherwise the scent is very pleasant. Warm sandalwood and fizzy neroli dance around each other over the duration of the scent, and surprisingly, the neroli is a little stronger until the end.
For some reason this gives me YSL Libre vibes, even though they don't smell similar at all. I'd say it's unisex, but slightly more feminine leaning. I like it way better than many other neroli scents, even though it's not something I'm totally in love with.
