Mandarin-colored sunset
I don't know what it is, but for me this is a fragrance where the sandalwood comes into its own in a different way and I think it's because of the mandarin. To be honest, I've never noticed mandarin in a fragrance before. It's sweeter than lemon and also different from orange, so for me it brings a more "playful, younger" citrus to the sandalwood. Sandalwood, which for me has something grown-up and serious about it that somehow goes with oud or leather fragrances, is thus given a bit of light youthful magic. It's not like oud bäm on the ground, but the feet hover just above it, the horizon left and right behind the feet, which have run through it and have free choice of where to go next, but the magic is-we don't know. I hope this visual representation was able to convey something. Somehow it reminds me of a more adult and less sweet version of Punk Bouquet by And Other stories...so vlt, neither childish nor old, it's for the youth dancing at unconventional festivals near the Grand Canyon in the USA. Leathery sandalwood for the desire for freedom and manderine for magic, security and identity.
