Smells like Home....
Living in Texas, I knew i had to be one of the 400 people that would get their hands on this limited-edition fragrance. Being a proud Texan and a fragrance lover all at once, I knew that I had to snap this up and to make it all the more better, this fragrance has been created by Bond No.9 which is without a doubt one of my favourite niche fragrance companies.

Texas went in a completely different direction to what I was initially expecting, I was actually something that was quite heavy, woody and masculine; kinda like an Homage to the heritage of Texas but this is quite fresh and very juicy. Its fruity notes avoid smelling immature and instead smell very grown up and very creamy in a quite sensual and adult way. The Pineapple note and blackcurrant seem to dominate the first stages of the fragrance but they never disappear, instead they sink to the bottom and form a foundation for the luscious Gardenia and Creamy vanilla to crash. The vanilla in this scent smells sexy and sort of hints at the fragrances versitility and wearability for the nighttime.

The lasting power is fantastic, Its without a doubt one of my favourite Spring/Summer fragrances and its something I wear proudly. But even if i was in the situation where I disliked the fragrance, I would still buy it just for the bottle- Its fantastic!
