The perfume house "Bond No. 9" was founded by Laurice Rahmé, has nothing in common with the British secret agent, but is based in New York with fragrances that are shaken and stirred.
Born in Paris, Rahmé also attended school there. She then studied art history and ran an antique store. When she joined Lancôme as training director in 1973, sales significantly increased, and just three years later, she became artistic director at "L'Oréal USA."
Rahmé gained a lot of experience and a wealth of knowledge in the USA. Therefore, she was able to start her fragrance label "Bond No. 9" in 2003. After some noble niche perfumes, Rahmé brought through her label in 2011 the fragrance series "I LOVE NY" to the market. These fragrances are intentionally produced only in small series and are in great demand alone.
But other fragrances from "Bond No. 9" are also repeatedly associated with New York. Rahmé is enthusiastic about New York and distributes her "Bond No. 9" at the first addresses of the city (Harrods, Hudson's Bay, Saks Fifth Avenue, etc.). By the way, all boutiques and stores are personally decorated by the art-experienced Laurice Rahmé to always bring a touch of British flair to New York. On request, customers can be driven to the "Bond No. 9" boutiques in an original British cab.
