Queen of the sugar biscuits
Who looks at my collection, sees directly that I have it very with sweet fragrances.
For quite some time I was looking for a cute, cake-like girlie fragrance. I was not sure if such special wishes are served in the perfume world at all, but it did not take long until I discovered Fantasy through Parfumo.
I hate to write it, but I found the bottle ultimately unattractive from the photo. Fortunately, it doesn't look quite so awful in the hand - quite alright, but bordering hard on tasteless. The design is forgivable, though, because when the perfume was released in the early 2000s, it may well be that the general taste of the target audience (kids/teens and especially Britney fans) was just different overall at the time. I have read that the whole Fantasy series of Britney was/is very successful and for this reason probably for the recognition value the basic design of all Fantasy flacons was kept and always only modified in color.
In the top note, this eau de parfum is tangy-fruity and shortly after turns into an original vanilla cupcake with thick, light frosting, which smells super delicious white chocolate. To bite!
The durability and sillage is really amazingly good for such an inexpensive fragrance.
On grey, cold days when I'm in desperate need of pastry vibes, I'm very happy to reach for this fragrance. By no means is this a "serious" scent, but rather something fun and youthful to dream about. I think the name "Fantasy" fits very well, because here the chirpy, cupcake princess fantasies, which unfortunately do not correspond to reality, come true.
