Very closely to OG Fantasy, but not more intense
I love Fantasy and I'm a sucker for intense flankers, so I had high hopes for this. The kiwi opening of Fantasy is infamous for being a bit too sour and jarring, so I thought this would open up smoother, with less tart kiwi.
Well, I still get lots of kiwi here! Additionally there is a spikey green note that I would attribute to the patchouli. I thought patch would only be an earthy, warm base note in this, but it's the scratchy kind and I smell it right from the start.
Otherwise, this has a lot in common with the original. The white chocolate and vanillic cupcake notes in this are very familiar and just as good as they have always been. In the drydown, when the regular Fantasy becomes a bit more musky, this one takes a powdery turn with a stronger orchid note and tonka bean. After that patch has calmed down it only adds a nice accent to the base and isn't scratchy anymore.
Honestly, this is very enjoyable for the most part, but I prefer the original and don't think you need both. I also don't find this more intense at all.
None of the other Fantasy flankers is really similar to this, only the original. Rocker Femme and Intense have in common that they both carry a lot of Fantasy DNA, but the additional notes take them into different directions. I'm also very happy to report that I can't understand why some people on a certain other site voted that this was similar to Erba Pura. I strongly dislike EP and am sensitive to scents in that vein, and can't sense any similarities in Fantasy Intense.
