Trio, non infernale!
Some of my scent preferences unite here (yes, I really have several: fluttering being that I am):
The mimosa that is always enchanting for me, that can be sweet and yet so bitter. And who tries not to make her charm accessible to everyone.
Vanilla, quite late discovered by me as my favourite, and since then interesting and always curious just because of all its facets.
Pink rose petals - princesses' dreams could be these; they carry a touch of English and Irish gardens in them here.
And my special fragrance friend sandalwood: always a bit stubborn, stubborn and yet cuddly and protective in his soul.
Sandalwood awakens the senses, vibrates easily and emits erotic signals.

Why "Trio, non infernale", when there are four fragrances that Alison Banton combines here?
Well, this title refers to the name of an enchanting scent composition slightly inspired by Irish magic: "Pink Petals, Sandalwood and Mimosa".
(Surely the vain vanilla sulks something it is not mentioned here.)

Alison Banton's fragrant passion originated in her great-aunt Mollie's garden, where she collected the petals of the roses in her: something little girls like to do - something eternally feminine!
Great-aunt Mollie used to say that "the rippling brook and the whispering shoals would help her turn Alison's rose petals into perfume. But overnight the older but very wise woman added real perfume to the little girl's watery mixture. So Alison thought she'd created her own perfume."
(Excerpt and translation from "The Story of Brooke & Shoals")

To my astonishment, sandalwood first developed into a base that settled comfortably on my skin and then created an elegant stage for the three, sometimes capricious Graces Vanilla, Mimosa and Rose.
A beautiful, creamy vanilla flirts passionately with the more brittle mimosa sourness; sweet, warm and full of feminine grace both finally submit to the somewhat scratchy sandalwood aroma.
The mystery of the rose is only added later in full splendour; this pink beauty finds its place exactly in the place of this fragrance where it belongs: it opens the door to a magical finale! This does not, however, come with timpani and trumpets and trara; no, it develops like a creature from the vapour of the magic cauldron of a wise witch who knows how to create dreams and make them happy.
An elf? A princess? A being accompanied by a white unicorn?
Feels like everything is in "Pink Petals, Sandalwood & Mimosa".
Here dreams are created by a few splashes that smoothly adapt to any desired shape.
But you have to believe in it.

These dreams are a bit more than just foams: sandalwood makes this scented web more stable and deeper; it is not so volatile and airy.
Therefore certainly not suitable for every sense of smell; here the spirits will divorce.

Certainly there are more exciting, more spectacular and much more realistic-looking fragrance creations.
But this is a sunbeam in grey; a sudden smile, a little grace in days of this often uniformed life.

I have two samples of this brand still lying here: I'm already very curious what secrets these will reveal to me.
But after this first acquaintance I am almost sure: it will be worthwhile to follow their invitations to enchanted gardens. They seem to know the gate there and also to be able to open it!
