This is the original version from 1981 not 1992
I had been on a quest for this classic and finally scored an 8.4oz bottle for $125! A steal if there ever was one. I remember when i was a younghan walking in the department store with my parents at the church on a Sunday afternoon in the winter. A nice lady asked me if I wanted a sample of this new fragrance. It was the best smelling men's cologne I had ever experienced up to that point and to this day I remember how good it was. I held onto that little sample as long as I could careful to fold the pouch it came in to tuck in all the fragrance. That thing lasted over a year maybe more, stashed away in the upper drawer of my dresser. I have never forgotten it. I have owned and smelled lots of amazing fragrances since then but very few have made an impression on me like this one has. I am sure Nostalgia and the lady made an impact as well, but this was just a great Symphony of notes, period! My young inexperienced nose newadvent and my old one knows it now.
