Surprisingly unisex!
Tested: skin and fabric over 8 hrs.
TLDR: Citrus/spice upon application, slightly generic masculine, unisex if anything, inoffensive, dries down to rose musk.
-As a huge fan of the original Burberry Her, let me say, these are nothing alike. If the sweetness and fruity red berries of the original do not agree with you, I’d give this flanker a chance!
Upon first application, it was a blast of STRONG lemon. Immediate citrus. A little bit like spray cleaner.
Shortly after, the ginger kicks in and it starts to remind me of a men’s cologne, the fresh and slightly spicy kind. Not at all overwhelming, if a bit generic. Not Old Spice or Axe.
This part of the scent lasted only about 4 hours as far as I could tell. Great projection for about 30 minutes, I could smell it on myself. My non-fragrance hobbies coworker liked it, though she agreed that it was more masculine that what I usually wear. “Does it comes in a blue bottle?”, she asked. That made me laugh. I suspect she was thinking of D&G Blue - also lemon, spicy, and unisex.
8 hours into wearing is when I checked again. It had faded a lot by that point, and ultimately dried down on my skin to a soft rose musk that reminds me so much of Rosie by Rosie Jane. This is the part of the scent journey that is most agreeable to me.
I didn’t catch very much floral until the very end, and I don’t see myself wearing it again, per my own tastes. I do, however, find it nice, light spice, and refreshing!
