A grapefruit, a wood lath and a little synthetic..
Preliminary:
I like citrusy scents.
And usually I don't make the price an issue.
Everyone should wear what he wants and what he feels comfortable with.
And everyone should also spend what they want on a fragrance if they are in tune with it.

Now to the Tygar:
Yesterday in direct comparison with Boadiceas Energizer tested.
The Tygar is nice at first, and actually quite a stayer for a citrician.
But that's it, the headline to this comment says absolutely EVERYTHING the scent has to offer...there's nothing more.

In a direct comparison Tygar against the Energizer even draws the short straw.
For me, even quite clearly, because after 8 hours remains close to the skin by the whole Ambrox something back, which it is (for me) to avoid in any case:
A sauvage vibe !!!

The energizer is also skin deep after this time, but clearly stays with the lemon theme, without this extreme synthetic drydown.

As I said, in life everything is in the eye of the beholder.
But 300 € for this mix I find already more than cheeky.

The Energizer is already overpriced with 200 €, but at least you do not smell like Johnny Depp at the end.
Citrus fragrances are neither witchcraft nor quite big fragrance chimes.
I am of the opinion that there are also in the designer segment significantly better concoctions at a (also) significantly better price / performance ratio.
With an Allure Edition Blanche, for example, you never go wrong.

Conclusion:
Unspectacular
Long-lasting
Clearly too much Ambrox
Unpleasant sauvage vibe in drydown
Price unreasonable, actually a cheek

Let fingers of it, for the coal you get three other Zitriker, which are clearly better.

Another hype victim ? Let´s see ..
I would gladly call this: Perfection through simplicity.

In Italian, it is said that the best pasta dishes are the most simple, as example: Pasta Aglio (Pasta, Oil and Garlic) and there are many other examples.

In this scent, JCB is using three main ingredients to create a beauty for the warmer days without complicating things: Grapefruit Accord / Ginger Essence / Ambrox Accord.

And even if it smells a bit like a designer smell, the longevity and natural smell which I get from Tygar tells me otherwise. BVLGARI are part of the LVMH group which means they have access to the same purchase power as for DIOR, LV or Givenchy. Therefore, the ingredients used are surely of the best quality available and the blending is just sublime.

Are there other scents out there for less with the same sparkly grapefruit? Yes there are .. one being CHANEL BDC Eau de Parfum .. the nice natural smelling Grapefruit is there, but the rest of the notes are missing.

For me, Tygar is a winner and it has a few strong competitors in Imagination and L´Immensité from the same LVMH group, which will glady follow into my collection.

I am so strong, so strong, so strong as a tiger and.....
With these words I could smell this wonderful scent some time ago. Thanks also to a great perfumo for the rehearsal.
I know Bvlgari from the mainstream. With a rather weaker performance. So I was able to test this sample. Tygar. Sounds pretty much like a tiger, doesn't it? Is it so beautiful orange, so powerful and so fast?
The antelope is sitting there. The tiger sneaks up on us. Easy. One too fast movement and the antelope is gone, the tiger must starve and the search continues. Very gently. Quiet as an ant. In the deep degree, it seems, he leaves the traces. Just look up to see if the food is still there. Immediately winter down and slowly approach. Look back to make sure he's the only one. He is. Does the antelope smell the tiger? He's not hoping. We're moving on. Not for long. Tiger's getting ready to jump. The antelope seems attentive. Looking around. And Zack. In a fast and deliberate jump the tiger attacks. Full force against the antelope. You bite the side. The antelope makes the last sounds of itself before it dies powerless. The tiger, with its covered attack-technique and with the speed, has seized its loot and its eat. Slowly, with much effort, he pulls the antelope in his mouth through the savannah to a suitable place. Bit by bit he devours his well-deserved and self-hunted food. He'll have enough to eat for himself for some time.

With this force, the Tygar smashes in. A splash and the whole variety of scents (or not) shows up. Grapefruit with a slightly woody note. With a super Sillage. Durability, which is stunning. A straight-lined fragrance. Without great depths and heights. 3 fragrances which are completely sufficient for this fragrance. I can imagine that certain perfumers find the scent boring. I find the super fresh and elegant wood note bomb. As bombastic as the fragrance is, there would only be the price not (280Eur).

Are these Le Gemme fragrances from Bvlgari so unknown? Do the few fragrances scare you away? or is it the high price?

I'm recommending him. Do you like fresh, not aquatic, scents? Which one comes up with a slight wood note? Aren't 2.80Eur/ml too much for you? Then test this fragrance and you'll be delighted.

Now it's time to go outside to give this smell of the world to smell.

Happy Easter.

A very versatile, rather linear, fresh and uplifting fruity resinous-woody Spring fragrance, with a bright spicy-citric opening.
