Flowers in the head and god complexes
Well, my title may not be very creative with a perfume name like "Flowerhead", but I just couldn't think of anything better. After more than 1300 comments I get tired slowly... I'm really tired... I don't feel like writing comments anymore... baaaah!

I know you're NOT shocked now... because you don't believe me anyway. It's similar to the series Arrested Development (if you know it), where Michael threatens all the episodes with leaving his partly really impossible family and still not doing it. Meanwhile everyone in the family knows this, so they don't take his threats seriously :D

But it would be great to know if I have fans here who would cry for me,...and beg on their knees for my return for fear of losing their god...mu ha ha ha, but now I'm really crazy! :DDD
(hmm... I just read that the term "god complex" is not a recognized, medical term!! But the self-knowledge of this madness is nevertheless the first step to the healing of the delusions... ey I am SO good! I am a god!:DD).

So, what am I doing here? Well... I'll stay and sniff. I'm sniffing at a floral scent that doesn't inspire me at all (which might be the reason why I'm talking endlessly again). No, you can't take this the wrong way. Even though I often have difficulties with flowery scents (because I'm still not so good at recognizing some flowery scents), I have nothing against flower scents (unless they really smell extremely stuffy). You ladies can smell those scents really nice. But this scent here from Byredo is really rather boring...

The fragrance:
As expected, I smell "various" flowers at the beginning. They smell nice, slightly sweet and slightly watery. My "watery" one in connection with flowers you should know by now what I mean. If not, here again to the explanation: It smells like damp potting soil and/or like the water in flower shops, in which the flowers are. So not stuffy, but pleasantly watery-flowery even :D
I think I can smell the angelica seeds out, as well as the sweet jasmine of course. Somehow I also get a light, resinous note, which seems a bit like mastic resin to me.
The background of the fragrance is somehow slightly peppery and spicy. Now that this has subsided a bit, you can smell the green notes better, which also look fresh. I like such green notes a lot, but even these can't save the fragrance from Flowerhead becoming a little boring...
The base is a little warmer, because now amber is added, even if the fragrance does not become much sweeter. Well, that's it, too!

The Sillage and the shelf life:
The Sillage is mediocre, remains at this level for a short time, and then becomes weaker. So it can only be smelled on one at shorter distances.
The shelf life is six hours and more, but after a certain time it becomes weaker and weaker, so that it is hardly noticeable in the later hours.

The bottle:
The bottle itself is quite simple, even if the glass should be of high quality. It is cylindrical and has a large, white and also quite simple label on it. The lid is shiny black and hemispherical. Well, it looks as simple as most niche fragrances and won't win a beauty award.

Okay, as already described in the fragrance description, I found this fragrance rather boring. Well, he's not bad now that he doesn't smell unpleasant. But it smells like a normal, 0815-flower scent without special strengths, which can also be found in 1000 other scents. And apart from that it doesn't awaken any memories or emotions in me, unfortunately it is a scent which I will forget very quickly after the test...

Therefore, I find the average ratings here of 6.0 points justified. As sorry as I am to say this, I don't think that this fragrance is worth all the money, because you could get similar fragrances for a 20s... Otherwise the fragrance would be best usable in spring and summer. And he's more feminine than unisex...

And yes, even if you haven't begged me to stay here (hm, the longer I'm on Parfumo, the more megalomaniac I'll probably become who imagines the most absurd ideas :DD), I'll stay with you,... for a while at least, hmm... :DD

Floral top notes
The is not even as bad as the first sniff on the spray head or even the name can be expected. Nevertheless, he lives up to his name and starts with a very floral top note of jasmine and rose. The lemon makes it at least a little fluffier.

Then comes an annoying and throbbing heart. There I had already almost given up. No time to wash off so quickly continue to work and roll down the sweater. That was quite good, because he is still developing.

In the base, it becomes very pleasant. Green notes move in and now and then even the suede shows. The jasmine is still very finely there and the roses are withdrawn. Through the amber he comes a nice warm skin note to it.

The fragrance is overall not mine but who wears such fragrances, should have joy in this one. Who has struggled through the heart (maybe ne half hour) is rewarded with a round fragrance fabric. The durability is good and the sillage is moderate.

Sorry for the Statezenion. Was too long for one and the other maybe a little too short.

Flowery greetings
Your Donnagirl

Perfect name for such a bouquet
Flowerhead blends together beautifully as it settles on your skin - authentic rather than synthetic, a beautiful bouquet of white florals, fresh greens and sweet complementary berries & fruit. If you dig white florals, do yourself a favor and check this one out. If you find white florals offputting - well, go on... get outta here! =P

Flowerpower extrême
Flowerhead opens with an explosion of flowers and literally takes your breath away.
Jasmine & Tuberose envelop you completely and stay for many hours. Lemon, cranberry and rose can be guessed now and then, but as soon as you think you smell them, they're almost gone again, discreetly in the background of the two dominant chords.
After a few hours an interesting note is added: Suede gives the fragrance more depth and attraction.

The fragrance lasts for many hours, but it shines best when it is not hot.
That way he never runs the risk of looking pompous
Compliments are guaranteed!

Foghorn in a Bottle
This fragrance should come with a warning label that it could be obnoxious if heavily sprayed. It really packs a punch. I could not imagine owning a bottle of this as one spray is all that is needed to perfume yourself and whatever building you are in. It is a huge, very dewy white floral, primarily tuberose and jasmine which appears intensely right out the gate. Has lots of green notes and an aquatic, cold aspect to it too, so descriptions I've read elsewhere of a florist refrigerator are pretty apt. There is iso and ambroxan mixed with the slightly animalic base of suede and ambergris. Fortunately, not enough synthetics to totally ruin the scent, but it shouldn't be here in the first place, especially at the prices being asked for a bottle. While this starts out with enormous projection, it does seem to lighten up as it goes along. I am using "seem to" as opposed to "does" as I am not sure if it is actually lightening up, or if my body's defenses are making me nose blind so I don't incapacitate myself. I'll have to test this around people and see.

Overall, while I do think it is pretty, I seriously have no idea where I could ever wear this scent as it is just too overwhelmingly strong. I also do not understand the unisex designation as this is extremely feminine. More than likely Byredo is just trying to increase sales labeling it that way. But of course, one can wear whatever one likes.
