He's kind of boring...
The association mentioned in the headline came to me when I could smell Gypsy Water the first time. I have now taken some time with a bottling to test the whole thing again more closely, but unfortunately my first impression has continued that Gypsy Water is boring for me, but now to the why. The first reason is that I can get this bergamot, amber, vanilla combination implemented much better in other perfumes: Nishane Ambra Calabria, Mfk Aqua Vitae etc. often also with much better performance. I can also unfortunately only smell four notes in Gypsy Water throughout the entire course: Bergamot, Vanilla, Amber and Lemon. I can't smell the other notes at all, unfortunately, which left me a bit disappointed. I have here unfortunately again the typical problem, which I had with all Byredos so far. The perfumes are not bad, but suffer me somehow too boring and partly also too similar to each other, which always keeps me from buying a bottle, because just for me not enough points speak for a purchase.
