An intense byredo!
Mumbai noise is mainly a coffe-tonka scent on a sweet oudy base. This is not a laid-back or watery scent like many other byredos. You feel the presence of the scent for many hours.
Not unique in composition, i had many similar scents in the past few years. But the sweet oud base made me buy this scent. You get that intense oud blending with somewhat nutty coffee vibe, and it becomes heady and daring.
Definitely a winter scent, it is very rich for hot weather.
Has a dominant ethnic quality, really suits the rich indian scents. Not listed in notes, but i suspect a dash of incense is there in the midnotes.
I will have this in my collection for many years if it doesnt get spoiled by reformulations.
