Fruity pepper chocolate? ;-)
I had a proud six scents to test today: 1x Kenzo, 1x Cerruti, 1x Bulgari, 1x Etienne Aigner, 1x Cartier and this one: CK One Red Edition For Him. It's the only one I'm keeping. Certainly because it is comparatively cheap, but also because I liked it best of all. Quite an EDT with an exciting note, which I don't have in my collection yet.
The start is fresh and actually reminds of immature pears. A sweetish undertone is quickly added, which probably comes from the tonka bean. Reminds me of cocoa powder. In the further process suede and pepper provide for a slightly bitter impact and underline the "For Him" in the name.
Paired with the synthetics all in all a somewhat crude mixture, which finds itself however somehow and animates me again and again to the Nachschnuppern. Sillage and durability are mediocre according to the price. A year-round fragrance for every day, I like it!
