It can do more than the rating suggests!
I can't really understand the poor overall rating.

The sillage is for me the only thing you can really chalk this fragrance. This is appropriate in the first 1 to 2 hours, but then quickly fades into the background. In a more intimate setting, however, the fragrance is unmistakably perceptible and has a pleasant strength in my opinion.

The top note fades relatively quickly, but heart and base notes are further perceptible even after a good 6-8 hours.

The flacon is truly no masterpiece, but also no eye horror; but above all, it is brutally stable. The thing has already fallen down more than once and has always survived it without even the slightest damage.

What is really successful with Camp David Red, however, is for me the fragrance itself. The opening is initially very citrusy and alcoholic, but after exhibits short a pleasant sweetness, without being penetrating. After half an hour, the spicy heart note sets in, which radiates a certain warmth, but still seems masculine. The woody base note forms a successful conclusion and creates a surprising counterpart to the initially tangy prelude.

While the weak sillage is the biggest weakness of this fragrance, it also makes it suitable for just about any occasion. When going out, you will probably not attract attention to itself, however, the fragrance is for everyday use more than just fine and without being cheap and completely boring, as is unfortunately the case with many all-rounders.

P.s.: Am new to this community and this was my first comment, hope everything is adequately formulated :)
