A Western-style Oud
I recently had the chance to acquire this little rarity, an Attar of a very good quality
It is a very concentrated oil, in a small bottle of 15ml combining sobriety elegance
I have unfortunately not had many oils in my life, only this Carolina and Warda Al Oud from Xerjoff, so my comparison will be indirectly with this one
Pure oil Oud from CH is a very nice oil focusing on the Oud note. However, this note of Oud is not at all stable, it does not smell like poop but more like a Western-style Oud, marked during the first minutes and then softens.
Indeed, during the first minutes we have this power of Oud mixed with a very slight green note, perhaps pine?
This Oud reminds me of the meme that are present in Bortnikoff
Once the first moments are over, the oil softens on a gourmand but not sweet, a jam aspect, which makes it a very nice Oud easy to wear while being very oriental.
The sillage is good for 4 hours on my skin, and the hold is about 12 hours
I haven't tried it with a perfume so I won't comment on the blends
Beauriful stuff !
