Constant ups and downs!

I tested the Cobalt and tried to hold back my basic skepticism towards synthetic fragrances a little.

The fragrance started with a delicious lavender note. Closely followed by a really good plum.

The whole thing lasted about 5-10 minutes. Then it became unpleasantly synthetic. Very unpleasant!
I was about to wipe off the scent.

But curiosity prevailed. So the fragrance developed back into something bearable.
The accompanying truffle makes the fragrance feel solid again at the end.

After a while, the strong synthetic note is no longer very pronounced.

Ladies, watch out!

Kicks ass. It's a safe wear, sexy, warm, airy, fresh. This is for a smaller collection, typical bad boy type scent. If your a heavy frag head you've probably smelled this 10 times over from other places, but CH does have some masterful blends, she's a GREAT buy for any guy looking for scents a woman will love. CH does NOT fail the notes department, but like alot of her frags the performance is only roughly 3-5 hours even in the (watered down now a days, I swear!) EDP. Great scent for summer, and really all year probably, spicy enough for winter, sweet and fresh enough to entice the opposite sex.

A new favorite blue

I really like this, the plum is so sweet and satisfying! It's not a deep, heavy, sickly kind of sweet like you get from the likes of JPG Scandal EDT and neither is it like the sweetness that you get from one of the fragrances this is getting compared to being, 1 Million Lucky. I do understand why, people are comparing this to Lucky when you first give it that initial spray, but once it settles you won't be thinking of 1Million Lucky at all. I can also understand why people are comparing it to YSL's Y which i think it may actually smell amazing layered with tbh. For me though Bad Boy Cobalt has its own identity and so far i really like it. If anything i would say it smells like Versace Dylan Blue in its later stages of dry down. It has that softness to it and by soft i don't mean weak.

The Pink Pepper is there in the opening also but it's not as strong and sharp as it is in something like Spicebomb Infrared. It's just enough. The entire fragrance is just well blended tbh but be careful not to overspray. You may think at first to do so but it is not required and i made that mistake at first and it can become too much. This is a Parfum and for once performs like one! Give it a good 10-20mins and it will create this bubble around you just by spraying on skin alone. A quick EDIT here: Another reason not to over apply this as i am 3 hours in once again being reminded that they have done something clever with this fragrance in the way that i can only guess that they have created it in a way that certain notes become stronger in the dry down. Thus creating a stronger projection as time goes on from your initial spray. I warn you, do not over spray this. This is a treat to behold :-)

Something funny i noticed is that when i had sprayed it in my room that had my cup of regular tea in it. I thought i was drinking English Rose tea which i am sure you can imagine what that tastes like. A sweet floral rose tea. So one of the notes is making my drinks taste better too lol. Certainly not a complaint i love English Rose sweet Tea! So that rose scent (Geranium) is definitely doing something in there.

Longevity is pretty good and i can smell it coming off of me while sitting watching TV and going out to the local store while it is rather cold here still in the month of February. Going in and out of a room that has had this sprayed in it is simply bliss!

This is definitely one to add to my favorite's which i have been struggling with recently as i kept getting fresh oceanic types of blues while Bad Boy Cobalt doesn't have that fresh oceanic salty kind of notes like Versace Man Eau Fraiche or D&G Light Blue Eau Intense as those sea notes in them that can be overpowering.

I think this is a fun scent, something that can be worn at any occasion. It is expensive but definitely worth it imo as there is a note in there that adds this richness to it and i suspect it is the truffle nicely blended with the vetiver, oak and cedar woods. After a few let downs recently it's nice to have a smile put back on my face again .
I have the atomizer that doesn't have a cap you can pull off to reveal a regular atomizer like some bottles have now. This is the usual Bad Boy lever kind of atomizer and it gives out a really good blast of it. I sometimes just press it half way it's that good.
