Powdery apricot skin
This is my favorite out of the 3 fragrances from the Lucky Charms collection that I've tried. Alegria de Vivir and Call me Darling sounded interesting notes-wise, but left me a bit disappointed. Lucky Charm on the other hand is lovely. Ironically I find the yellow and brown bottle to be the least pretty in the collection, but it's the scent that counts.
This is sweet, powdery and perfectly balanced. The mirabelle note in combination with the iris reminds me of fuzzy apricot skin. Vanilla is also strong here and makes the scent warm, creamy and cozy, but it's not too much of a gourmand. Iris and sandalwood both add a wonderful dry, powdery texture that contrasts the sweetness of the vanilla and fruits. In the opening I even find it somewhat herbal, a bit reminiscent of lavender, but not really, it's just cool iris with a warm background hum.
It's quite unique for a fruity vanilla perfume!
While the other two I tested from this line were rather weak, this is a good performer. When I sprayed it in the evening, I could still smell a soft powdery veil of vanilla and iris on my skin the next day.
