i don't believe it!
Today is one of those days when "loud" work is not worth it: I'm expecting the delivery man from Hermes.
In contrast to DHL, where notifications are already written about 30 meters from the front door, the "Hermes boys" deliver until their tour is finished (hopefully I won't describe it now!).
Since they have to return to the base in Oranienburg, the late afternoon or even the early evening is "Hermes time"; unless the tour starts contrary to the usual "Hermes rhythm".
So so brought around vacuuming and cleaning work on the balcony and always with one ear on the bell, I more or less rummaged around.
But as you know "makes small cattle crap too"!

A lot of space was lost during a rather ill-considered bathroom renovation last year: after all, pipes may only be laid on the walls and no longer in them.
The baths became smaller and the sheetrock overlay at the most unbelievable places created protrusions that are difficult to use. So also under the skylight, approx. 50 cm under the ceiling.
There is a plinth a good five centimetres wide over the entire width of the bathroom.
"Place wasted!" mumbles the bitch in me.
But not even an elderly blonde like me will put something there that is needed regularly; climbing on the edge of the bathtub should not become commonplace.
But this advantage lures and so a typical female solution was found: up there superfluous beauties are at home!
For example: nice empty glasses of scented candles with tea lights; the empty lipstick cases from YSL - real pieces of jewellery and just too bad to throw away, and of course some empty glass works of art:
Perfume flacons called!

The first thing I noticed was the so called voyage version of "Panthère de Cartier" as perfume de toilette.
After I bought one of these splendid flacons of the perfume at the end of the eighties with a polished refillable lead crystal ball and flanked by the two panthers in the red leather box, the "travel version" also had to be purchased.
The elaborate perfume flacon is still a feast for the eyes today, but is not too good for travelling.
And miracle after miracle:
There is more than just sediment in the EdP's finely ground but much more practical flacon.
And since a miracle rarely comes alone: the fragrance is still flawless after almost thirty years!
(Who can still say that about themselves after so many years?)

And of course I had to spray: Sensitive or not!
The road of nostalgia opened up to me with an unexpected opulence that I had already forgotten:
Which power, which charm, which seduction lies alone in this Eau de Parfum!
The treasures from Ali Baba's magic cave were used without a dot or comma! An Entrée of fruity freshness, which is far less harmless by ginger and pepper than assumed and by a proper portion of Labdanum (Zistrose, how I love you!) even more powerful!
The sentence "This is not for little girls!"
The flower and aroma fullness of an overfull fragrance heart is here seasoned with nutmeg and beautifully woven through with ylang-ylang.
If now this creation in the depth of the cave penetrates to the true treasures of the fragrance world, there is no holding at all any more: the more, the better.
This could end catastrophically, but Cartier has left the fragrance stage to a connoisseur and true artist: "Panthère de Cartier" is also stunning as a "mere" eau de parfum!
(And maybe because of that, compared to perfume, something "more suitable for everyday use".)
Oak moss and cedar do not spice up and earth the flowery, mature fragrance power of the past Amber and patchouli radiate a vibrant glow; sandalwood, musk and vanilla/tonka bean warm - clearly tempting. Aphrodite sings: "Come, let yourself be seduced!"
Incense bewitches the senses - is there another way back?
No, Zibet's animal power leads into a dead end intoxicating the senses.
This supple Schleichkatze does not purr, she already grumbles ...
There is only one way left: that of devotion!

When I consider that we used to wear these fragrance explosions in the office during the day, I realize how wasteful this era was.
Not only at these tremendous scents, also at a wealth of colors and fabrics!

In my eau de parfum "Panthère de Cartier" this magic, this dream remains trapped.
Because one thing is certain: nothing has been reformulated yet!
This is original magic provided to the woman to possibly bring a lot of excitement and restlessness to life.
Let us be seduced! Even on an ordinary Saturday afternoon!
And the fragrance devil laughs from ear to ear: follow me!
