Sneaked into the heart
Rimbaud had been on my watch list for some time, but I never actively sought out a sample.
One day, I happened to read another review of the fragrance and thought to myself "now I finally have to give it a sniff" ...
And as luck would have it, a dear perfumer even gave me a sample as a gift :-)

When I sprayed Rimbaud on, I thought to myself, "mmmh delicious lavender" but nothing more...

But throughout the day I kept hearing this melt-in-the-mouth buttery vanilla lavender dream.... :-o

Rimbaud starts with a lot of lavender, authentic and flowery-herbaceous... later a buttery-soft vanilla cream follows and nestles up to the lavender... then I perceive a slightly doughy-kneaded nouance, which I attribute to the expanse, simply wonderfully unusual, really great... musk also gives the fragrance a delicate powder fluff ...

The sample contained fragrance for about 4 tests and I actually tested it for 4 days in a row and gradually fell in love with it...

Rimbaud has crept into my heart and I really love it

Celinade for the classroom
Just two weeks ago, I rated Rimbaud with a 9 and wrote a statement. In the meantime, the bottling is empty, a bottle moved in and I have come to the conclusion that neither the number nor a few words do justice to this magnificent fragrance.

Surely many of you remember this one teacher, whose closer explanations you wanted to avoid at all costs. Not because you didn't like her or didn't need the explanations. Simply because she liked to drink coffee during the break and enjoyed a cigarette. The pleasant break is begrudged to all from the heart - only unfortunately, this tremendous mixture of scents, which these teachers then exuded from their mouths, awakens pure horror in me to this day.

As a teacher of highly pubescent adolescents, I have due to this unforgettable olfactory experience very specific ideas about how my fragrance should act. Namely, I do not want them to avoid my explanations. Under no circumstances should my perfume fill the classroom (the teens already do that with their overdosed body sprays). It can't be perfume-y, loud, cheesy, annoying, pungent, bubbly, or intrusive. I want the youngsters to notice only a pleasant, subtle, calm, well-groomed, warm scent when I lean in to them. Only very subtly, perhaps even subconsciously. But still in such a way that it remains in positive memory. Rimbaud fulfills exactly these criteria and I am already sure that many young people will associate me with this fragrance. He touches me with it in any case.
Rimbaud starts with a dreamlike authentic and natural lavender. He smells exactly like the pure lavender oil, which is on my bedside table. I love this naturalness and am a little disappointed in the first tests that the lavender is already gone after half an hour. In the meantime, however, I can perceive him quite discreetly in the background throughout the entire scent. This fulfills my desire to wear a quiet fragrance in the classroom, excellent.

After half an hour, the "Celinade", which is known to me and very much appreciated, takes over. As in Black Tie and Dans Paris I feel just incredibly comfortable with this delicate, gentle, restrained, noble and well-groomed vanilla in Rimbaud. At the same time, I now also perceive the wheat. It is difficult to put into words. But it gives the fragrance that certain something and I find it pleasantly soft and warm. The iris butter also contributes to the fulfillment of my wishes.
Neroli, however, my nose does not recognize.
The fragrance now remains so for a few hours, until it gently creeps away over the vanilla.
He is so close to the skin (even quieter than Black Tie and Dans Paris) that I needed a few attempts to perceive him longer than two hours. In the meantime, I can actually smell him all day and I look forward to it every morning.

From Paris to Italy...
Strong lavender paired with wheat in the opening. Lavender fields in France.

The strong lavender wears off quickly and smells pleasantly warm.
Wheat is individually perceptible, the lavender recedes into the background. Musk, iris butter and vanilla join in, making the fragrance very pleasant.

I would have liked the lavender to be the main player, unfortunately it fades very quickly or fades into the background.
The fragrance quickly becomes close to the skin and has medium to good longevity. Nevertheless, I smell it every now and then as a surprise, as if to say "Hey, don't forget me, I'm still here!" I really like these surprising comebacks throughout the day. The lavender also manages to emerge from the background, albeit only briefly, it always seems to get stage fright - it feels more comfortable away from the spotlight ;-)

The development of the fragrance is pleasing, but unfortunately loses its "specialness" due to the lavender, which has become quieter/is only perceptible from time to time. The fragrance becomes more pleasing.
Without the lavender, it reminds me of Paris - Venise (tested in Milan) - I like it so much that I immediately bought an AF of it.
Update 26.09: After testing it several times, I have to revoke this statement. Perhaps there was still a hint of Rimbaud on my skin when I applied P.V. in Milan... no resemblance at home
Back to Rimbaud...

I find it so pleasant and relaxing, I like the lavender, which is strong at the beginning but never unpleasant. The scent is dreamy, calming and feminine and elegant. It has a soft sillage to match.

A fragrance that calms me down when I'm upset or nervous, comforts me when I'm sad and boosts my good mood.

I like it. But the pleasure could be a bit longer, even if I like the fact that he pops in every now and then. But maybe it suits this light, dreamy fragrance too.

I like to wear it in the evening.

But also on vacation in Tuscany at +30° it was a great choice during the day and in the evening and a great companion!

Rimbaud Celine. Be the wind, strong and free
The quiet beauty of a sunset evening.
The cool wind, which brought from afar the aroma of fresh wet grass and bergamot, slowly walks through the fields, gently waving the stalks of lavender and wheat. Suddenly, speeding up, he suddenly reached a small garden with blooming irises and, enchanted by their delicate powdery aroma, calmed down, as if falling asleep, hiding himself in a velvet blanket of purple petals.

Here, sour citruses, bitter, fresh-spicy herbs and neroli give way to tickling nose lavender, dry earth and soft powdery iris, wrapped in a weightless woody-vanilla flair and fluffy soft musk.

Rimbaud Celine is a fragrance of fragile beauty dedicated to the French poet Arthur Rimbaud. His creative path was only 4 years, but in this short period he became famous throughout the world.

Beautiful, but barely there. No way for me to justify this price tag.

A reminiscence of Pour un Homme of Caron. Enchanting lavender fading to a comforting balanced iris/vanilla scent. Classy!

I try it regularly and I see a very strong resemblance to the White Musk for Men A powdery/clean/slightly floral
