Short chocolate pleasure
Who knows me, knows that I have to do professionally with very different topics than with perfume. But even there you get something olfactory now and then. That's what happened during my very first voluntary internship. At that time, I got one of the much sought-after internships at one of the largest and best-known companies for automation technology in our country and was allowed to work on the text of publications for their worldwide customers. I was very happy when my very sympathetic supervisor told me that I could go out and experience the products in daily practice. And not just anywhere. No. It went to one of the best-known chocolate manufacturers in the whole of Germany.
Sniffing Lait et Chocolat, I was immediately back on the scene. The intense scent of liquid chocolate beams me back times more than 20 years and reminds me of that unforgettable day back then. But I smell not only the chocolate pure, but also other ingredients.
After all, the most diverse varieties are produced and packaged in parallel there on one day. Could that be yogurt chocolate, which is just produced? Or do we have it here ostensibly with the typical combination of milk and cocoa, which is known in particular by an Italian, unfortunately little sustainable manufacturer, but which every factory produces? I can't make out the individual components of this perfume, but the overall impression is skilful, because I'm standing in these hallowed halls just as I did back then, and I know that I can still take some of the coveted, cheaply available broken chocolate home with me in the evening. The scent is very authentic and fun for anyone who enjoys the pleasure of chocolate.
At the same time, Lait et Chocolat never drifts into the buttery despite the milk notes, which I like well, but unfortunately only isolated perfumers succeed. Also a sticking plaster note, the milk fragrances for my nose like to develop times, is absent here.
But now we come to the very big but: the fun is over faster than you can imagine. I have yes very many delicate fragrances and love these also, but here is really already after the shortest time end. My husband can't detect this chocolate dream at all, so it can't just be me. Where Sorriso, which I also love and own, is sometimes a bit too much and too persistent for me, what I get here is simply too little. Otherwise, Lait et Chcolat would definitely have been a candidate for my wish list. But as it is so often the case: The most beautiful moments unfortunately pass far too quickly. Just like the then wonderful day in the chocolate factory.
Many thanks to FioreMarina for the test opportunity.
