Eternal love

I've only been working more intensively with perfume for about a year, I've also had the pleasure of getting to know "Nische" and I'm overwhelmed by the dimensions that open up to me. Many fragrances that I liked a few years ago I can no longer get anything out of today. Not so with Chance Eau Fraîche Eau de Toilette. I first fell madly in love with it about 10 years ago, when I found it incredibly expensive and kept trying to find cheaper alternatives. But without success. It had to be exactly THIS one, I bought it frequently, wore it every day, loved it dearly. I felt enveloped by this incredible freshness, super well-groomed, elegant and grown-up. With the newly discovered world of niche fragrances, I lost sight of it for a while. Recently I tested it again in the perfumery and there it was again: my first signature fragrance, my great love. Never again without it, soon it will be mine again. Fresh, without being sour or too citrusy, slightly woody, special and elegant. I think the longevity is perfectly fine and the sillage is very good, at least for the first 4 hours or so.

Noble and well-groomed with that certain something

Chance Eau Fraîche is one of the fragrances that I always repurchase. I wear it mainly in the fall. Winter is the only season in which it does not come into its own so well. And whenever I put it on again, I am enchanted by the unique sillage that this fragrance exudes in a subtly classy way. I too believe that Chance Eau Fraîche is a masterpiece. Although it is a fresh scent, it has a decent sillage, at least on me, and it lasts its 6 hours well. It also smells a bit like fog and rain showers, but in a fresh way. The citrus in this scent lasts until the end without becoming dominant. The composition of the fragrance notes is round and really unique. I usually have problems with perfumes that smell like rain, mist or even pond. That is not the case here at all.
The fragrance just seems neat and classy with that certain something. I spray Chance Eau Fraîche always also on the shoulders. Then the wonderful fragrance clouds pass my nose every now and then. And that smells sooo good!

Chance Eau Fraîche

This is a unusual frangrance for chanel
because chanel usualiy makes deep orienals woodsey and aldehydes.
but this is a treat. it's a crisp bright
Frangrance the feeling of springtime
with the sun glairing though the flowers
the citeruses and woods will brighten
your day but it can be a bit overwelming

A burst of freshness

Very refreshing, cooling and pleasant. A perfect scent for Spring and Summer in my opinion.

Chance eau Fraiche opens with the citrusy sourness of the lemon and the woodsy quality from the cedar, creating a damp yet clean opening. In some ways the scent is slightly masculine, reminiscent of many citrus based male scents.

I was starting to fear that I would dislike this fragrance until it began to merge into the middle notes of soft florals which blended nicely. This floral blend is sweet yet crisp, maintaining that wonderful Summery feeling.

The drydown was good but not great. While I wasn't really impressed with the strange blend of musk, vetiver, patchouli, woods and iris, I was rather pleased that the patchouli wasn't strong and headache-inducing like patchouli usually is for me.

Overall, Chance eau Fraiche is a fantastically unique, bright and sophisticated fragrance. It carries Chanel's great lasting power and doesn't fail in making you feel as if every cent was well spent.

Unisex fragrance for spring and summer

I only became aware of this beautiful, elegant fragrance by chance. The bottle is inconspicuous and if I hadn't had a sample, I probably wouldn't have bought this fragrance.
I love wearing it in summer and spring, mostly at work or in my free time. It's a very pleasant, fresh and well-groomed fragrance that I've always been complimented on. Unfortunately still far too unknown in my environment..
