The mademoiselle and I-
A comparison between the different versions and the desperate attempt to find the right mademoiselle for me.

Rarely has a perfume so bewildered me as "Coco Mademoiselle". I have certainly tested the well-known EdP dozens of times in perfumery. I wanted to like it so much. I plead guilty: the bottle and the brand behind it were the main reason. I've always wanted to have one of the beautiful coco bottles in my glass case. "Coco Mademoiselle" was my greatest hope, as this fragrance is a modern classic and should delight just about every woman. At least that was my guess and my hope. In me the scent arouses above all perplexity.

Flowery, bright, slightly citric, discreetly sweet, elegant - I like all of these things very much and yes, in my opinion "Coco Mademoiselle" is the epitome of a beautiful everyday fragrance in all versions. However, there is one problem. Is it the patchouli note ? I am not sure. It's this subtle earthiness combined with the subtle sweetness. Whenever I smell this fragrance, I feel confused. On the one hand I find it really beautiful, but on the other hand I feel... uncomfortable. A feeling as if one could be sick at any moment. This feeling is very faint, yet it bothers me so much. On the one hand, I would like to wear the fragrance so much, but a tiny part of it can't wait for it to fly away and not get into my nose all the time. It is so difficult.

Now I have already tried several versions of CM. I have already described the EdP. I like the perfume/extract. I was sent a 1.5ml bottle of Chanel and I think the version is wonderful. It's very bright and elegant, and the disturbing note is at least present in this version. Nevertheless, the perfume is not suitable for me. The price is very high and apart from that, I don't like pouring bottles. I always wear perfume on my clothes. So I save the miniature for very special occasions, I could even imagine wearing it at my wedding.

Then there is the "Intense" version, which I got as a present a while ago. This one I can wear. The earthy note is also present here, but the fragrance generally seems stronger and sweeter. In this proportion I can handle it better. It's probably this contrast between the citric-floral cleanliness and the earthy base of the original that makes me feel slightly uncomfortable. Also the "Intense" is a fragrance that I don't always want to smell on me - I find it very beautiful, but I have to be in the mood for it. Also in this case I don't always get along with the patchoulin note (guess that this is the mentioned disturbing note).

Now I have ordered a bottling of the EdT's. Yes, the bottle is not as pretty as the one of the EdP's, but since I now own the "Intense" version, it doesn't matter anyway. It was all about finding a "coco mademoiselle" to win my heart. Like I said - apart from the patchouli, I really like the scent. So, now to the EdT. I don't have a sample of the normal EdP's in the house, but I have tested the scent an awful lot. The EdT seems to me a little fresher and "airier". The prelude is fresh and tangy, with the grapefruit showing to advantage. This effervescence disappears as soon as the scent has dried on the skin, it's really only the first impression directly after spraying. After the fragrance has settled and unfolded, it appears much less tangy. Still bright and clear, but much rounder. Not at all sour and fruity. A citric-floral scent that appears very creamy and clean. Well-groomed and elegant. The patchouli note is also clearly present in this version, but the EdT seems a little less sweet to me than the EdP. The vanilla note only really comes into its own after about 1 hour, especially when I press the nose on my wrist. It is discreet, but gives the fragrance a little sweetness, which I find really beautiful. The EdT concentration reminds me even more of the Extrait than the EdP version. The durability is also really good. On the skin the scent lasts for 8 hours. I tested it on my hand yesterday afternoon and even after washing my hands and showering several times, I still noticed a touch on my hand this morning. The Sillage is in solid midfield. 3/4 sprays should be enough to make the scent still be perceived about 1m around you.

All in all, I like the EdT version, because the patchoulin note in this composition doesn't bother me as much as in the EdP (if that note is the culprit at all). I will continue to test it diligently, later on in spring/summer, because I can really imagine the EdT as an everyday scent for the warmer season. But I have to be honest - I still don't trust it. Maybe this version will make me uncomfortable at some point, even though I find it very beautiful in itself - maybe "Coco Mademoiselle" is just not the right "Coco" for me. I really want to try "Coco Noir" and "Coco" again - maybe one of these fragrances will immediately make you "click".

Butterflies in the Orangery
Not far from our little town you can visit an old baroque town. It was built on a hill similar to the city of Astorga (in Spain). On the right you can see the small whitewashed chapel of the Franciscan Order, which seems to guard the fields and meadows. In the middle, a little higher up is the also whitewashed castle. It towers over its village and overlooks the narrow alleyways. And the people scurrying around in it.
And at the back of the hill, even behind the old school, is the Orangerie. She's not really pretty, even ugly. It should just have a benefit and fulfil your purpose.
In winter, citrus fruits and other small plants were stored there, which would otherwise have died of severe cold.
Yes, and I'm sure they've smuggled in butterfly larvae every now and then.

The scent:
Freshly orange it comes flying, takes the cheeky grapefruit with it. The fruit coctail becomes somewhat sweeter through the lychee and softer through the rose.
After some time a light vanilla appears and the fragrance becomes more cuddly. Creamy quiet I would like to call him.
And by the musk the smell is grounded and is really well succeeded.
The fragrance lasts loosely 8 h, but becomes calmer after 2 h and rather madamig instead of mademoiselle.
Not bad, but beautiful.
It is indeed fresh and citric, creamy and sinisterly flattering.

Conclusion.
With this fragrance you can even catch butterflies in the orangery. Because they come dandelions right on their shoulders floating to see where the fragrance comes from.
A nice weather scent or a nice weather makes scent. For every person who needs a good mood and also a good portion of self-irony to appreciate weis

A fresher and lighter version of the Mademoiselle / A little (big) insider tip
Hello to the round

today I would like to talk about a very great fragrance mMn hardly or no mention and this is extremely wrong, it's about the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette and I'd like to tell you why.

Recently I have once again reflected on certain situations of the past and here the wedding of my wife and me. It was warm, very warm (almost 33 ° C) and I told her x days before take what you want! You should feel good and especially for fragrance lovers like us, fragrances that you take on special days, have a certain meaning. And you wavered even on the day of the wedding, which one should it be...

Why do I say all this = you will understand (in a moment) !

She took the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum and since we have eh a certain connection to the company was the choice already perfectly ok. I personally can only say that the on the day only discreetly applied saved your (or us) the AR**.

Why?

Those who know the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum know very well what the for a monster is (older batch), in the sense of engaging, heavy, etc. . Anyway, she said to me shortly after the wedding the following: " I know we both love the, but .... i would have liked to take a lighter and especially fresher...!" I noticed your was the statement very uncomfortable and I asked still - also from CHANEL and what lighter? You - yes!

Just by the way you had at that time already Delina La Rosée and you loved the very, so I had to look for a hybrid, so to speak. It did not take long I found the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Toilette and according to the fragrance pyramid he was a small hybrid or he was Mademoiselle in fresher, tangier and lighter.

Then I ordered the, he arrived and one of the first comments was.... oh I would have taken once the...! And I'm honest (!) I did not know the and this annoys me to this day...

If you know the Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum and would like to have the in fresher, then definitely reach for that. For me, the worth every € and currently an absolute insider tip, no one talks about the or mentions the. For me, this is very mysterious ...

From the performance (H/S) he is surprisingly good!

Generally, he comes Chanel - typical very good!

For me, he is in the months of April to the end of September "daily" to wear and somehow an absolute no brainer, he will never get on your nerves, a really great fragrance.

If I really would not be convinced, I would put you the not heart!

And now a nice day / evening or always you read this review, LG the Benny

The Frollein from a good home!
It smells very noble to me, even a little snobby. I wear it more in autumn or winter when I feel like something fresh. I would describe it as a wintry fresh scent.
Unfortunately it doesn't get woody round with me, it remains the annoying soap tone, which has already caused me headache and nausea.
The EdP I have also there, but this is again too heavy for me as everyday fragrance.
I'd have liked more rose, vanilla and musk here.

Fresh Fruity Floral for All
I seem to do better with CHANEL Eau de Toilettes than Eau de Parfums, and Coco Mlle is no exception. There are so many similar creations flooding the market, even within CHANEL's own house with the Chance line, but all of those other fruity florals seem kind of baseless, like ghostly fruits that just fade into oblivion too quickly.

Coco Mlle is all substance. It's surprisingly woody and complex for a fresh and fruity perfume; never boring. Longevity with the Eau de Toilette is remarkable on my skin, no worse than the Eau de Parfum.

I can see this being great for casual use as well as an evening out. Maybe not for sequinned dresses or ball gowns though.

SUMMARY: Easy pleaser for women of all ages

I used to wear this perfume all the time. It was my signature scent. It is a beautiful and happy scent that is very feminine with a twist.
