This perfume was the one my Mom wore. She would dab some on her hair and a train of the most amazing scent will folow her everywhere. It is mild, but stays on for a long time. It reminds me of tabacco, hay, and dried flowers between the book pages. But there is some greenery here too, so it is a live scent, not of only dead plants. You just can't get enough of it. It is complex, and unusual. I splurged and bought, I think all avaiable versions on EBay and similar sites. I have a perfume in a beatiful amphora like bottle, and a few EDT's in bottles with white caps. EDT is as great, but not as deep and complex as actual perume. I love that the scent while developing on you, keeps the main notes intact throughout the whole time you smell it. It fits a young girl in a summer dress, or a Meryl Streep type of a mature sophisticated woman. it is not casual, but not too formal either. A nice brunch with mimosas perhaps, but not a ball. A mystery indeed.
