Enveloping
In '43, in Ireland, a flight had to return to the Foynes base area due to bad weather, chef Sheridan decided to create a special drink to comfort the pilot and passengers: an intense coffee, with the addition of sugar, cream and whiskey .
Silence fell in the room, it was so good and enveloping.
When American passenger asked if the coffee was Brazilian, the chef replied “No, it's Irish”.
And from here Irish Coffee was born.
A fragrance with a dusty Iris, a creamy violet, accompanying a delicate coffee aroma.
An elegant and delicate contrast, wonderful for gourmand lovers.
Warm and enveloping, for me suitable for the cooler seasons.
“The Sweet” painted by Pierre Bonnard.
