The storm or Only the hard come into the garden
As we set out for our daily walk through the fields, the sun was still shining. In Normandy the weather often changes very fast. On the way back, a wall of clouds in dark Paynes gray was brewing in the distance. She quickly moved closer and stood over the only tree far and wide that would have offered some safety from the rain. Then the wall of clouds covered the whole sky and lightning came down. The rain was as heavy as if someone had torn the clouds apart. Thunder rumbled and the downpour made the earth splash up on the fields. The earthy smell of the rich Norman soil mingled with that of the wildflowers along the way. Within a few minutes I was completely soaked and the water was even in my rubber boots. We rushed home. When we arrived at the castle, the rain stopped. The clouds moved on and the last raindrops, as sprayed, broke the light to a rainbow.
Summer Storm smells very strongly of earth when sprayed on. Wet or not. It's as if lightning had struck right into the ground. First you have to cope with that, then the earthy smell becomes softer and goes into the background without disappearing. Various flowers appear and are accompanied by grass. I could have sworn it smelled like lavender, too. Lavender is not specified. Even if Summer Storm gets a little soapy in the base, I would never have thought it to be a men's salon shaving scent because of the earthy scent.
Strangely enough I like Summer Storm and family tester M likes it too. Only I wore it, a woman. I just wanted to say that because the official website advertises it as a "masculine fragrance for men". Only the hard ones come into the garden.
With Summer Storm you smell as if you just came out of the garden where you planted flowers. Unfortunately, this is not suitable for my job, but I can imagine that most people will have no problems with it, because as close as I am, most of you don't come at work to anyone and the Sillage is not strong. On the official website it is advertised as a fragrance for people who have to work at their desks, even if they would rather be outside. Of course, the fragrance is also particularly suitable for gardeners and farmers. You can also talk your way out of it if you're late for an appointment: "I was still in the garden and didn't have a clock". Otherwise Summer Storm is not suitable for going out, because the scent would go down because of the lack of Sillage. There are landscape gardening competitions, that would be a sport where you can wear Summer Storm. Of course you can wear it in summer and autumn. Maybe in spring, too. In winter, people might wonder what you did in the garden in this weather. The durability is about 5 hours, but with the moderate price the after-spraying is no problem.
